Once you get to the top of the elevator, there are still some number of steps before you get to the very top. The view of the church's interior while you were up there was pretty amazing and very unique. There is not that much to see once you get to the top though as the windows were pretty dirty. The church itself was quite beautiful on ground level as well as we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Great opportunity to see these amazing frescos close up. However the lift and the scaffold tower does intrude a little into the overall view of the interior of this great Church

we had the chance only to view this church from outside, had already got dark but the light on the building give a magnificent view.
in the park, in front of the building we had the chance to admire an argentinian tango club exercising.

Currently this church is undergoing massive restorations. It has a temporary elevator inside that gets you close to the dome's frescos. It is really neat to see them up close! There is an additional set of stairs (probably not for the faint of heart, they are also makeshift and a tab wobbly), that takes you all the way to the top of the dome. From there you can see out all around the city, but there are still window coverings. A neat experience to get so close to the dome of a church!

I know this is a beautiful church but compared to all the other sites and venues in Vienna the charges here are not acceptable. Even as 2 OAPS we had to pay 16 Euros to see inside the church. The Stephansdom Cathedral is free as are all the other churches of note and one is asked for little more to see whole palaces and art galleries.. Sorry to be grumpy.
