We visited the church this evening to hear Mozarts Requiem. Painful to listen to, very dark, Old Testament music. 39 euros each for average seats. The church itself is breathtaking-architecture,frescos and paintings.

This is one of the most attractive churches you will find in Vienna. It's façade is wonderfully baroque. It's beautiful green dome is flanked by two columns reminiscent of Trajan's column in Rome. Concerts are held each night at 8pm and cost €30.

This is a beautiful church to visit when you are in Vienna. A great way to visit the church is to attend a classical music concert.

I have never visited a church where you can take a panoramic lift up to the dome. It was absolutely fantastic. we went up twice. Once you get to the end of the lift, you can climb 125 metres further to reach the top of the dome. I didn't make that trek - the stairs are really scaffolding and they aren't enclosed! But others said it was well worth it. This is a place not to be missed during any visit to Vienna.

I was stunned to discover not only a beautiful religious piece of art surrounded by peace in the heart of the city, but an interior that takes your breath away and leaves you mouth-open. Because you never thought you would be able to take an elevator right from the nave up to the cupola of a church and let you dive in the serenity of the angels and saints flying on the walls, as you can see them from 1 meter away.... Stunning!
