As it happens, I am a vegetarian with Celiac Disease, so finding a vegetarian restaurant in the land of Wienerschnitzel, that can also accommodate my gluten-free health needs has been a challenge. That said, the meal at Tian was among the best IN MY LIFE, and certainly THE best since going gluten-free. The service was gracious, the staff knowledgeable and sensitive to g-f issues, the atmosphere quiet and lovely without being pretentious, and--most importantly--the food was GLORIOUS. In addition to carrot ginger soup, g-f bread and organic butter, vegetables perfectly cooked and seasoned and presented like a Picasso sculpture, I had a CHOICE of g-f desserts. I chose the chocolate mousse and never looked back. My habit is to eat quickly, but I took my time with this meal and savored every bite. I LOVE THIS PLACE.
