Good relation for price, service, quality of rooms and location.
It is just a few minutes away from the Stephansdom, an estimated 100m. It does not have an own hotel parking lot, though. You can either leave the car in a garage, 32.- € per day, they will collect it and bring it back to the hotel on command. Alternatively, you can park on the street and get a parking ticket on a daily basis for 4,10 € from the hotel. We did that and had no problem finding a parking place – but we visited in December, it might be more difficult in high season.
The breakfast is plenty in variety, good choice of sausage, Schinken, cheese, different cereals and Müsli, boiled eggs, juices, even a glass of sparkling wine could be had! You can also opt for American breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages.
Absolutely friendly staff, always smiling, and a genuine smile, not a trained hotel staff smile. Absolutely incredible: One day we were woken by the telephone at 7 a.m. The reception: She had noticed (coming in to begin her morning shift) that a car was standing at the busstop, had walked back to the car, saw that it was of a Hotel Domizil’s guest and phoned us straight away with the advice to better park at a different place to prevent being fined or worse, being towed away. We were so grateful!
I would always choose that hotel again.

Pension Domizil exceeded my expectations! The staff is professional and helpful - everybody speaks excellent English. My room was very clean, spacious and comfortable - high ceilings, big bathroom, a desk, etc. The wi-fi was not very reliable with internet speeds varying greatly throughout the day, and this is my only gripe about my entire experience there. The hotel feels like a cross between a bed&breakfast and a proper hotel, and it's in an excellent location that is a stone's throw from Stephansplatz (where you can catch the metro) in a safe, pleasant neighborhood in the heart of the city. There are many restaurants and shops to discover all within walking distance.
The breakfast is just wonderful, it is the epitome of a European continental breakfast. I still dream of these, especially the breads.... oh how I wish they were the standard for breakfasts in Western hotels.
Pension Domizil, I will be back!

Great location in the center of Vienna just two minutes from the middle of town giving you peace and quiet when you need it. Well priced very clean rooms and the best night sleep I have had in ages. Free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee and all usual facilities in very spacious rooms.

Hotel staff are fantastically friendly and nothing is a problem even my stupid questions were always answered with a smile.

If your coming to Vienna regardless of your budget you wont go wrong if you stay here.

I had read about a Pension Hotel in Vienna but it was booked & was referred to Pension Domizil. From the very first correspondence I found the staff to be helpful and service oriented. Upon arrival in the city the hotel is an easy two block walk from the Stephanansplatz Metro at St. Stephen's Cathedral. The hotel is a small, boutique hotel very centrally located with a pleasant staff, TV, wireless internet and breakfast included with the room. If you are looking for a fancy room with overstuffed beds & spacious showers - go to a big chain but be prepared to pay 5X the price of this pleasant little hotel. I will gladly stay here again on my next layover in Vienna.

Room Tip: If you want a more quiet room, make sure you ask for a room as far from the street noise as possible.

The Pension Domizil was in an ideal central location for our requirements. A couple of hundred yards for Stephanplatz. We stayed six nights bed and breakfast which was great value for its location. Rooms were of a good size and facilities included TV, WIFI, and tea making. Cleanliness was of an extremely high standard. All staff were friendly and helpful, especially one very cheerful lady on reception who provided very useful information for site seeing and directions.
Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of continental breakfast selection.
Only problem experienced was noise from construction work being carried out in the vicinity which always seemed to start at 0700 on weekdays.

Room Tip: Possibly room on ground floor may be better as the hotel has a very small lift.
