Our room was beautiful, like a 4-stars hotel's room. The breakfast was delicious and tasty, all of the meals was fresh, and the staff charged it, when something ran out. The receptionist was friendly, the check-in/check-out was fast.

Room Tip: Choose garden-view room!

I found this hotel about a year ago. It has old and new part, the new part has better room equipment, however the old part of the hotel seems to have larger rooms. Both rooms are very comfortable.
The best thing on this hotel is their yard and breakfast. I love to sit on the terrace in summer and have breakfast. The selection of the buffet is just great! Their spreads for bread are amazing!
The location is just at the metro station of Suedtiroler Platz, from where you can reach quickly to the City center or to Prater. Also night bus has stop just close to the hotel.
Two points to be done better - capacity is too much for elevators and higher speed of internet is required.
I recommend this hotel to all, who do not seek for luxury but comfortable hotel.

Spend a night here in late July. My intention was to catch a not that expensive, EUR 73,00 Euro´s, accomodation good to reach from the airport by public transport and also not that far from the Vienna main train station replacement Meidling, where my service to Ljubljana leaves early the next morning.
The S-Bahn from the airport to Wien-City works ok, decided to give the taxistas a go from there to the hotel while it was 9.30 pm, not the time to use the subway at Friday night.
Ok so far, the girl at the desk was average friendly to say the least. My room on the second floor was fixed, no chance to go for a more upper level. The room itself spacious, wooden floor, well designed furniture, flat screen TV, ok so far.
No noise at night, had a good sleep there. The internet computer in the lobby was free to use, also ok so far.
No breakfast for me with the early departure.
Once again the hotel was not that close to Meidling like it looks on the map. No chance to walk. Another cab shuttled me there, again no taxi rip off, ok.
All together a pleasant place to stay for my needs this time in Vienna.

Good points first:
* Close to the metro
* Reasonable prices
* Room was clean
* Plenty of wardrobe space
* Hairdrier was nice and strong

The bad:
* Customer service was non existant. I asked for an iron and they told me that they couldn't find it for three days. They said they would ask housekeeping the next morning, but no joy. I chased them up on three seperate occassions. One would think that if they could not locate the one iron they have in the hotel that perhaps they should just buy one. I think they can afford it! It didnt happen so I ended up buying one for 15 euros in a store near the hotel.

*Toilet roll. Looked like it had fallen into a bathtub or the shower and then it dried so the paper was all bumpy. We asked for other rolls which was fine.

* It was 15 Euros for a continental breakfast. Ripped off is two words that spring to mind. Far too expensive for some cheese and ham!

* One of the main lights in the room wasn't working. The others worked fine, so we used that instead.

* No shower cap. I ended up taking one from the trolley as i think you had to pay to upgrade your room to get toiletries.

Stayed here for a conference. Most of the staff that I encountered were very abrupt and not very friendly. The rooms were mostly clean but there were some small things that I thought were missed; nothing big enough to complain about, but noticeable nonetheless. The walk into the centre is only about half an hour or two stops on the metro U1, so i thought this was very good. Overall, it is good and if your just using it as a place to rest your head then i recommend it. However, if you like spending time at your hotel, then maybe not.
