“Free concerts, beautiful building”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

This is a beautiful church that offers a great place to rest after a long day on your feet exploring the city. They also offer a free organ concert daily, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

“Grand Church needs a cleaning”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

Majestic church but in the midst of major tourist trap street in Vienna. You could get inside the vestibule but the interior was closed for mass when I came in. The exterior is very dirty and in need of a clean up. The roof is a multi-color tile that is interesting to see. Unfortunately we had just come from Budapest and seen the St. Matias church which sparkled inside and out with a similar shingled room. With all there is to see in Vienna, I wouldn't go out of my way.

“Worth a Few Minutes to Visit”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

We were actually wandering around the city center - virtually lost - looking for St. Stephen's Cathedral. We caught eye of a church a few blocks down and ventured towards it, thinking it was St. Stephen's.

Well, it wasn't what we were looking for, but taking a few minutes to pop inside of St. Peter's was definitely worth it. It had an appealing exterior that blends quite well with the other historic buildings in the area, and an elegant interior, to boot.

“Baroque style for sure”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

This church really impressed my sister. I have seen a lot of baroque style churches so I was not as stunned as her but it was still impressive to see. Not my very most favorite but well worth a peak since it is so close to St Stephen's Cathedral.
