“An older European hotel, not a bad value, very good breakfast.”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

We stayed in March of 2014 as part of a group. The hotel is well located in Vienna, a short bus or tram ride to the Ringstrasse and most of the center of the city. Yes, it is very old and needs some updates, however it was clean, and the breakfast was very good. Service from the wait staff and the desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, as they had hair dryers and plug adapters available to borrow if needed.

For older travelers with mobility issues, just a warning about the beds as they are very low to the ground. Otherwise they were comfortable and clean.

The hotel has limited wifi and charges 3 Euro per day for each user. If you need wifi that badly, there is a McDonalds 100 yards away that offers free wifi.

Room Tip: The hotel is located on a corner so there is street noise in all directions. Earplugs helped

The hotel location is very good for those who want to spend a few days in Vienna to cover its numerous POIs. Mozart hotel is just a hundred meters from a tram stop and a five-minute walk from the city metro station. / Отель отлично подходит для тех, кто хочет провести несколько дней в Вене и посмотреть многочисленные достопримечательности столицы Австрии.
Should you need free WiFi, it can be easily found in the nearby McDonald's. / Если нужен бесплатный WiFi, зайдите в близлежащий МакДональдс.
Rooms are modest but spacious and with high ceilings. Actually, we liked our double room. It was warm inside and there was no street noise. The bathroom with a shower corner seemed rennovated. The hotel staff was very cooperative with us.
The only drawback I would notice is a small cinescope TV and a limited number of channels with only one in English (CNN) while the rest are local. I wish there had been a couple of sports channels./ Пожалуй, единственное, что не сильно понравилось - это мелкий кинескопный ТВ с одним каналом на англ (CNN) и остальными местными каналами. Жаль, что не было ни одного спортивного канала.

Smallest room in Wien, I think ! Curtains were torn apart, really little television, poor decor, water not really hot. Breakfast with almost no vegetables, no boilled eggs, ok but could be better ! I would not recommand, sorry !

Room Tip: Don't go for 303 !

The breakfast was quite well. And the staff was nice,

The rest however was very disappointing:
We requested a twin room but received a double. The desk clerk said they upgraded us to a double room with an added single bed, but that bed looked like it was picked up from the street. This is not an upgrade.
There was no soap or shampoo.
There was a certain amount of hot water.
The TV had only 4 channels - two of which was of webcams, and no international channel for non-German speaking visitors.
One of the windows did not close properly - with below zero degrees and a room facing the street this caused us an inconvenience.
The decor of the lobby and the room was very run-down and it looks like the hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. It was quite depressing. And there was a serious lack of light, especially in the elevator area.
There was no free wi-fi.

This was a great place! Nothing to complain about here. Tucked away but close to the metro, which makes it easy to get around the city. Basic of course, but if you're looking for a nice, clean place to sleep, you can't beat this hotel! Awesome restaurant a block down the street!

It's no five star but if you're looking for a place to rest, sleep, take a shower cause most of the time you'll be out getting to know the city, it's reasonably perfect! Also it's really close to the subway, trainstations, tram, I mean you've got it all! Plus the staff is really nice and helpful! Definitely recommend it to a friend!

Stayed for 2 nights but was glad to check out. Its so depressing. All the staff were excellent. Really nice, friendly and helpful. Its in a good location for transport. The room was clean but the décor is awful. The bathroom badly needed some maintenance. It took about 10 minutes for the water to stop after flushing the toilet. The shower doors didn't fit. The general appearance in the hotel is old, worn and shabby. It was by far the poorest hotel we stayed in of 3 hotels in 3 different cities in 8 days.
