“New Hotel on the Ring”
Reviewed 5 November 2012 via mobile

Nice new hotel, well located with very good acces. Indoor swiming pool, nice rooftop terace.

Please take the oportunity and visit the old part of the palace, keeping the initial decorations.

The limousine airport transfer was not eficient (you have to take a long walk to the parking in order to take the car).

The new hotel was opened in August of 2012. The building/s are renovated, high ceiling, amazing bathrooms, modern decor. Each floor is on multiple levels as the hotel is made up of 4 separate buildings. The service though was green. Most of the folks that were hired were young and looked like they didn't have the experience that Ritz usually offers. Also it didn't not have the charm that Vienna offers.
Breakfast was typical. For the 500 Euros a night you might want to look around before going to this hotel.

After many trips to Vienna over the past 10 years Vienna finally has a great hotel, the newly opened Ritz Carlton has warmly designed rooms, a great gym and pool, great spa facilities if you want a good massage, room service is quick and the food is good. The main restaurant has a limited menu but the food is good with a wide selection of good local wines. Given the relative prices of other competing 5 star hotels the hotel prices are competitively priced. I will be back to the Ritz.

Room Tip: Go for the dellux at 49sqm it is comfortable and roomy

This hotel was only opened for five weeks upon our arrival. The staff could not be nice enough to us during our entire stay. The hotel is modern and extremely high tech. The rooms were exceptionally beautiful. They showed us five different rooms with different looks and let us pick the one we liked the best - a beautiful suite. It was great to be able to watch the Presidential Debates at 3 am (9 pm NY time) in the lap of luxury!

Room Tip: Every room is different and beautiful. I don't think there is a "bad" room in this ho...

My husband and I spent three nights in September at the new Ritz-Carlton in Vienna. We opted to stay on the Club Level. Our room was immaculate, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a Nespresso machine in our room as well. The bathroom was all marble with double sinks, a separate shower and bathtub. We also enjoyed 24 hour access to the Club Lounge.

The staff in the Club Lounge took care of all of our needs from checking us in and out of the hotel, making sure we were well fed to making any reservations needed as well as sight-seeing recommendations. They offered a nice selection of food in the Lounge throughout the day and evening. We actually ate a few meals in the Lounge instead of going out. There is also a nice selection of drinks, which includes coffee, tea, water, soda, beers, wine, sparkling wine and a mixed bar as well.

The service was impeccable and everyone was so friendly. It is as if everyone truly enjoys their job at this hotel.

We found the location to be nice in that it is quiet and within easy walking distance to many attractions.

A great hotel!

Great location and an enormous architect work to bring together the 4 buildings which form the hotel. Rooms are spacious, with very comfortable beds and efficient desk to work (maybe the chair is not suitable work business activities). All together the place is very quiet.
Room service and breakfast buffet are very nice, the rooftop terrasse offers one of the greatest view of Vienna, especially by night.
Service is 5-star, kind and professionnal, as you would expect in such a place.
My television did not work during my stay, and they could not repair it for some reasons I did not understand but probably linked to the recent opening. I did not need it so I did not chase reception for that every day though.
A great place.

I was greeted with a smile from everyone at the property. Rooms are quite large, bedding is fantastic. Bathroom is all marble with a great rain shower. Room and bathroom was spotless.

TV on the wall was fantastic and even had ESPN America! There are plenty of power outlets, they thought of everything including the perfect location for an iron plug.

Club Lounge on 7th floor was great for breakfast, nice buffet selection.

Staff said the building used to be a bank, there is amazing crown molding and wood-work throughout the entire hotel.

Gym was great; life fitness treadmills, ellipticals and bikes. Perfect for a quick workout on the road.

You can't go wrong with this hotel!

Room Tip: Suites have TV's in the Mirrors!
