“Great schnitzel”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

My husband and I recently spent 5 days in Vienna. We were walking in the neighborhood near our hotel and found this lovely restaurant. Good food, good prices and great service. It was so good that we went there again on our last night in the city. Schnitzel is one of my husband's favorite foods. He liked it so much that he had it both times we were there.

“Decent local cafe”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

This was a small cafe type restaurant near where we were staying. The food is pretty good, and the prices are in the mid-range. The weiner schnitzel cost about 14€ and drinks were all around 3€.

“Good traditional restaurant”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

We were recommended to dine here by the receptionist at our hotel and we enjoyed our meal. It was very busy which is probably a good indication and we sat outside. Service was quick and efficient and we felt that we had made a good choice.

“friendly restaurant, good food”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

We ate here this week following previous TripAdvisor recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. We ate on the terrace surrounded by climbing flowering clematis ( planted by the chef, we were told). The street it's on is pedestrians only, so no traffic noise or pollution.

On previous tripadvisor recommendations we went for goulash soup, Wienerschnitzel and apfelstrudel. All tasty and well cooked. A draft beer and a local wine went well with them. As well as the very reasonably priced a la carte menu there's a set menu, and a board with the day's choices which is worth considering too.

All in all, an enjoyable evening.

“Wonderful traditional meal”
Reviewed 2 June 2014 via mobile

We picked this restaurant as it is close to the hotel we were staying at (Viennart). Very friendly and attentive staff who speak both English and German, and made us feel very welcome. They have dinner deals displayed on a chalkboard near the entrance. My husband and I paid €13.90 each for three courses - Rindsuppe (beef soup), Wiener schnitzel with potatoes and salad, and our choice of apfelstrudel or sachertort. I had the sachertort and my husband had the apfelstrudel. All food was absolutely delicious and we had zero complaints. Service was prompt and we didn't wait long for our meals. It appears that a lot of locals also dine here. We definitely recommend you try this restaurant. You won't be disappointed!
