“Great hotel”
Reviewed 13 July 2014 via mobile

Very nice hotel! Relaxing and service oriented. We had a very helpful iPad as controller for everything: TV, room service etc. Everything was connected! The food was delicious !!!!! Worth trying ! They think about everything. They brought out our car at departure before even asking for it. Great hotel!

We had an amazing 4 night stay at the hotel and everything was just perfect. The building is a classic example of a luxury building in Vienna and the lobby is a very nice place for an afternoon tea or drinks. We had a huge room that was very nicely decorated. The room was facing towards ring street and the view was amazing. The hotel is located in the heart of Vienna and within walking distance of many attractions. We were very happy with the service and the staff were very helpful.

Vienna was beyond my expectation and this hotel was even beyond Vienna !!!
I can't say it was the best hotel I have ever stayed in but it was definitely one of the best.
I don't want to go through details because it would be pointless when you can simply say "Everything was perfect"!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the street while booking . They will consider the requests

We stayed in two rooms with our kids and dog over Easter weekend for 4 nights. We had a large room with a king bed and plenty of room to do yoga or otherwise host the whole family and dog for movie night! The bed was comfortable and luxurious, closet space was plentiful, the bathroom had a fantastic tub and also a wonderful powerful shower. The kids had a smaller room with two twin beds with luxurious bedding and small bathroom with both tub and shower. The hallways were large but generic as were most main areas of the hotel. The lobby had a bit of charm, but was cold for the most part. The breakfast restaurant was incredibly warm, attractive and comfortable. Breakfast was overpriced with poor service, but the selection and quality were outstanding.

This place is impeccable. We stayed for 3 unforgettable nights. It is on par with "Das Stue" in Berlin which is also an excellent hotel. Flawless. The place runs like a scene from the film "The Grand Budapest hotel". It is expensive, yes, but that is what service costs. The room was lovely and the bed so comfortable that it was difficult to separate yourself from it in the morning. The breakfast has a full range and nothing is left to chance. The whole place must be run by a fastidious obsessive compulsive. Fantastic. Definitely returning.

Room Tip: The bathroom is fully automated. you need to press the buttons a little hard to get the shower/bath...

Stayed here 4 nights for leisure (birthday/anniversary) on our first trip to Vienna. Hotel is in perfect location for sightseeing - 5-10 mins walk to centre Stephenzplatz, 1 minute from metro which goes directly to Schonbrunn and Heligenstadt and 2 mins from tram stop for Nussdorf. 20 minutes walk to Hofburg / museums quatier

Staff were unfailingly courteous and proactive in making our stay special. Room (grand deluxe) was huge and beds were soooo comfy that it was almost worth staying inside!

Breakfasts were vast and catered for many tastes - English, American, French, Austrian, Turkish / Arab, Mediterranean - also lactose-free, gluten-free, vegan etc and champagne included!

There is a DJ in the lobby bar in the evening but there's also a separate bar area where the sound doesn't penetrate for those (us) preferring a quieter environment.

Would highly recommend this hotel for a spot of happy self-indulgence.

Room Tip: third floor side was very quiet - superb sound insulation

Absolutely stunning new property in Vienna (opened about a year ago)
Very helpful and friendly staff,
superior room is not spacious but big enough, with perfect AC, heated bathroom floor, awesome bathroom amenities and an Ipad that connects to the TV ......
DIE KÜCHE (their main restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner) is great! Real good food and good service.
Gym is big enough for a workout (didn´t use the spa)....... and YES you can smoke! - in their own cigar lounge!!!!!!
Not a cheap hotel obviously, but worth it. We´ll be back for sure!
