This is the best, most authentic Chinese food I have found in Vienna, so I have returned many times. The food (Cantonese) is excellent, with all the familiar dishes, done right. The atmosphere is simple, with community style seating at wooden tables. Chopsticks are provided without asking. Adequate draft beer and house wine. There are very few non-Asian guests, always a good sign for Chinese food. Prices are reasonable, Portions are large, so it is best to go in a group, to share various dishes. Open every day for lunch and dinner, but WARNING - open on Sunday only for dinner (from 6 pm, I think). The name of the place is actually "Restaurant Zhong Xin im Chinazentrum", but non-Chinese just say "Chinazentrum".

When I was living in Vienna, I was a regular patron to this good and authentic Chinese restaurant. They have excellent variety of real chinese dim sums and snacks plus other chinese dishes. Their food are simple yet very delicious. They have the usual fried rice, excellent noodles (fried or soup), crispy duck, roast chicken, ginger beef, Char Siew (roasted pork), sweet and sour pork, pork spare ribs, steamed or fried fish, stuffed or fried tofu, various stir-fried seasonable asian vegetables, etc.. The menu also includes rarely seen dishes like frog legs in black pepper, stewed duck tongues, chicken feet, jellyfish salad, pig intestines, rice porridges with century eggs, etc. Many asians, especially Chinese, go here to eat, and it is usually packed during lunch time (from 12.00 - 14.00). The prices are very reasonable, less expensive than most asian restaurants. You can get a complete meal for less than Euro 10 (including drinks).
The service is quick and friendly, although the staffs could only understand Mandarin and some German. The owner/lady boss could understand some basic English.
The restaurant is quite large and spacious, simply decorated with furnitures and decors from China (although not gaudy). At least they have airconditioning for heat relief in the warm months. They are open early and closes late, everyday except Sunday. The restaurant is located on Rechte Weinzeile, next to the famous touristy Naschmarkt, and it is located next to a big Chinese Supermarket called Lily Markt.
