Best coffee we had in Vienna, with very friendly service and good English. Breakfast was excellent at a decent price. Went back several days in a row as we really liked this place!

We stumbled on this humble place on our morning "touristy" stroll and were so happy to get simple soft boiled egg options with delicious hearty bread and gourmet chive and butter spread. Coffee was perfect and sparkling wine cheap! I inquired about a dessert and got a free taste. After we paid the nice person serving us he gave us two bottles of fermented Kambuka tea which I also inquired about and just loved!!! Thank you so much for a great spot. And all for 25 eu.

Excellent coffee with multiple offers. Breakfast was reasonable and I would recommend the Weiner with a soft boiled egg and roll to start the day and a tasty moist marble cake to eat if hungry to take for a later snack.

In Vienna, where coffee houses are a great tradition and way of life, opening a new-one amidst all the many long standing-standing, well known establishments takes a special concept, visual panache and the highest of quality in menu offerings. Mocarello, which opened earlier this year at a great location on Wolzeile (steps away from Stephens Dom), has succeeded extremely well.

Stopped by Mocatello last week around 17.00, after a long afternoon of sightseeing. Was immediately impressed by the contemporary, stylish and sophisticated ambiance. But what about the coffee and the pasties? Could not have been better!! My cappuccino was excellent and the home made apple strudel sublime. By the way, all Mocatello's Viennese pastries and cakes are home-made on premises. I love this great new place. Highly recommend it. Will surely return next time in Vienna.
