Owner description: Unique acoustics in baroque ambience, rousing sounds on period instruments united with the beauty and power of great music. An insider's tip in the city of art and culture, which ensures an exceptional evening to all music lovers and represents one of the highlights during a Vienna visit. The St. Anne Church is a historical proof of the beauty and playfulness of the Baroque. It provides a magnificent and authentic atmosphere and lends the concert a high-quality and refined setting. Thereby, the music achieves exceptional quality that leads the audience to dreamy listening. Our musicians acquired their art skills at some of the best-known music academies in Europe and play in concerts with renowned Viennese orchestras. Do not miss an attendance, because selected works by Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven and other composers who have lived and worked in Vienna are best interpreted in our cycle of concerts. The classical concerts are presented in the form of string quartets and include specific pieces of chamber music - in this context we present on selected days Franz Schubert's greatest work of chamber music "Death and the Maiden" on historical instruments, which we highly recommend.

Much more low-key than the bigger Mozart and Strauss concerts that are touted so widely around the centre of town, but absolutely lovely. Top class string quartet with quite a challenging programme. A lovely setting only minutes away from the crowds on Karntner Strasse.
We dined early at Sole Italian Restaurant almost opposite and then enjoyed this delightful performance.
Admission price 29 euros, 19 euros for students and seniors. Good value.

If you have a free evening in Vienna, this is a good choice. An hour of lovely and relaxing barock music in a stunning venue with good accoustics. Discount entry free for seniors.

Attended a string quartet concert here on May 8th. Very decent acoustics, and a fabulous little church with Baroque decor and ceiling frescoes. The music was first rate: Mozart's "Hunt" quartet, Haydn's serenade, and a Beethoven middle period quartet op. 14. Encore piece was Pachelbel's Canon. All in just a bit over an hour. Highly recommended.

We decided to go after reading the few reviews in Tripadvisor and were glad we did. The same day we also did go the Philharmonics concert to Golden Hall and I did like the Church concert more. Maybe because it was in such peaceful and intimate setting and also due to the fact that we did not get very good seats in Golden Hall.

It is enough if you go half an hour earlier to buy tickets. There are no seat numbers, so be early to get the better seats. Concert lasts 1 hour.

The church itself is nothing special, but the acoustic is rather good. And the church is heated as well.

If you have a free evening in Vienna visit this lovely concert. The curch and the concert are beautiful, the mucis pieces are well-known, and the mood is perfect for a small concert.
