We were surprised by how tasty and well spiced food was. I had a egg plant, walnut & peppers spread and spinach salad combo and the Damascus. Each was spiced extremely well and differently. The service was excellent and menu was in English for us. This new restaurant was recommended by our Hotel Wien across the street.

Like other reviewers, we were staying at the Hotel Capri (just across the street) and this restaurant was our choice mostly because we were tired of walking, and just wanted to eat somewhere close to the hotel.

Zina's is a very welcoming place. All the staff were most attentive, the food came quickly, was well-presented, and (best of all!) everything was VERY TASTY! It didn't hurt that the prices were very reasonable either!

There is a real Middle Eastern vibe here, but the food is definitely international. If you want something unusual to drink, try the fresh (homemade) date juice! Everything is served on a wooden slab. The fried potatoes were amazing! We can also recommend the burgers (seriously!) and the chicken kebabs.

We liked the place so much that we at at Zina's both nights we were in Vienna! I highly recommend this place: I'd go out of my way to eat there again.

We arrived in late afternoon and Zina's was closed until 5:30 pm, but I'm glad we waited for the opening. The food is well prepared, comes fast and the owners are very welcoming. We chose a combination of a cold, a warm and a classic plate each one and it was excellent. Try the orange dessert!

We were staying at the Hotel Capri across the road from Zina's and so this restaurant was very close to walk to after being on our feet all day in the city. We were given a warm welcome and the menu was explained to us. We are used to eating Indian food and so the Middle Eastern food on offer was a complete change for us. We ordered a mixed plate of starters: crispy prawns, falafals, lentils and dips (6 bowls in all) with breads, this was all delicious, followed by the equally tasty main courses (names escape me). The home made desert of custard tart with dates was fabulous. We really enjoyed our meal here and the service and attention to detail from the owners and staff was exceptional. We will return whenever we are in Vienna.

Having lunch at Zina's was a great experience in otherwise strange rainy day. Food is excellent. Menu is not huge, but you can choose from a variety of syrian food. It also has great options if you want to try different meals from the menu. I started with soup and appetizers and didn't even come to main course. Prices are OK. The best thing is hospitality of Zina and her husband who is the chef. Overall, very nice experience and a great lunch in Vienna.
