“Good food and service”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

Went for dinner while we were on holiday in Vienna. Food was very good. As starters we took the Karmelitermarkt's rolls and the calamari. Both were very good. As main, we took the Sea Devil Fish wrapped in Speck and it was excellent. For dessert, we tried the Pedro Ximenez cake. There were only 3 choices for dessert so it was rather limited.

Service was good and no problems to communicate with the staff in English. Waiters were friendlier than in other restaurants in Vienna. Prices were reasonable and overall dinner was good value for money.

“we left”
Reviewed 31 July 2014 via mobile

we had reservations but were not greeted upon arrival, with baby in tow. we were a bit early. in the rain there is no place to sit to wait for your table - not a family friendly place. it is a hotspot apparently but we could not continue to wait in the rain with a baby for our reserved table. the staff was too busy with existing clientele and should not have accepted our reservation.

“Not as good as the critics...”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

...tied this restaurant after reading good critics in an Austrian newspaper. Food was ok but we expected a bit more, Chorizoburger should be more chorizo. Pub garden was nice in quiet surroundings.

“A very ordinary dinner”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

Reading all the rave reviews about this place, I went there for dinner with my two colleagues and were seated outside. On a Sunday evening, there was quite lively traffic, mostly by foot, to and from the synagogue across the street.
We shared a platter of serrano ham and I had ravioli for main course. The ham tasted very good but my ravioli was a disappointment. The service was good and prices were very reasonable.
