“Good place to stay for a conference in Messe Wien”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2014

The hotel is located next to the Messe Wien. It's also close to subway station (Messe Prater) and in a walking distance from Prater (Amusement Park). Hotel has free wifi and the signal is good. As for food, there is not many varieties for breakfast which means that we have to eat the exact same thing for 14 mornings. (We stayed there for two weeks). However, Croissant and the coffee by WMF machine is great.

Stayed at this hotel while attending a conference in the Messe.
Easy to find, the metro station(Messe-prater) is a few minutes walk away. S7 from Airport then via metro easy. Remember to take the messe exit as its closer to the hotel.
Check in was easy with friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel, lobby and big double room was clean.
The bed was comfortable and I slept well.
The hotel is located in a quiet area.

Wifi was complimentary.
Electronic safe in the room.

Breakfast was in a large room with a large selection of hot and cold foods.
Like the individual eggs in the glass cups.
Fresh fruit, cakes and bread. Breakfast was quite good.

There are a few restaurants in walking distance and there is a shop close to the station for fresh fruit and snacks.

Close to the hotel there is a large fair ground with loads of rides.

Would recommend this hotel.

Well - that is to say, it is well positioned if you are planning to attend an event in the Wien Messe Halle A or B, but not if you are in Halle D and it is raining HEAVILY, as it was during my stay - and the Messe did not open the doors at the subway end of the building meaning a very soggy, 1+km hike to get to the other end of the building.
However, none of this was the fault of the hotel which is modern and, normally, very well-positioned for events in the Wien Messe! The rooms are well appointed and the free WiFi was fast and stable. I got another room with twin, rather than a double, bed, but since it was only for one night, it was OK. AND the air conditioning worked - very necessary to dry me out in light of all the rain!
Breakfast took a few minutes to work out, mostly due to the number of us attempting to be served at one time, and I'm sure that at a quieter time, it would have been very good. On this occasion, if felt very rushed, with long queues at the (very good) coffee machines.
If you need to be at this side of Vienna, this is a good choice of hotel (for the Messe or the Prater gardens) it's great.

Good hotel, good breakfast, although away from city centre but being very close to underground station it is no problem at all. We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights for a congress at Messe Wien. Check in was fast as also check out. Room facing Messe are really appealing! Shall stay again.

Check in was fast. Staff were friendly specially the waiters. Our room was clean. Wi fi was fast. I did have trouble with the elevators. The room card needed to be inserted inside the elevator and it takes some time for the light to turn green, and for some reason if there was another passenger who alighted on a lower floor than mine I end going back to the ground floor . Anyway, I got used to it. The hotel is located a few meters from the prater subway and there was an amusement park in front of it. Breakfast had few selections, bread, cold cuts, egg and fruits, but it was filling. I had dinner at their restaurant twice. Food was ala carte and tasted bland. Salt and pepper was needed to fix it. I did not like their cakes, they were dry, I prefer moist. But overall, it was a good stay. I will recommend it except for the food.

Room Tip: Our room was at the fifth floor and had a good view. Maybe you could ask for rooms at the fifth floo...

The hotel was nice, the breakfast was ok. The room was not big, but ok. he lokation is ok if you like tivoli garden whish was in the neighbourhood. It is short to nearest subway station and you are quick to center.
We tried to ask lobbu-ie staff som assistance. They did not know the neighbourhood and was not willing to help. We vent several times to ask abput something and either get no answere or wrong direktion. Ot will also be nice if we sometimes got a smile, but not. We felt like we was bothering them and that is not what we liked to feel. Of course perhaps we have landed on the only persones whish is not helpfull, but unfortunatelly is that what we judge from

Wonderful staff and facility. Felt safe once in the hotel but there is a red light ring road behind the hotel where you witness young girls being pimped. There is a heavy police presence at night. The hotel is close to the subway. We enjoyed our stay in Vienna!
