Booked single room in this hotel for our bussines trip. The price was very good. The rooms have free internet connection - just ask for a ethernet cable in reception. The rooms were nice and clean.

Hotel is very close to U6 station "Alser Straße" (and there is also a tram station of the same name) so no problem with transport. Just a little bit far from city centre but this was not problem in our case.

The only problem I found was that the traffic in the street was a little bit loud during our stay so I had to close the windows in the night.

Cannot say more about restaurant etc. as we left early in the morning and returned in the evening.

Near the hotel you can find many useful shops - bakery, sushi bar, McDonads and also some supermarket.

We stayed here in June 2013 and occupied a room for 5. The room is spacious and all five beds are singles with none a doubledecker. Internet access is restricted to a lan cable which you could easily obtain from the front office. So others cannot access the internet. However this is overcome by making one laptop (if you have one) as a wireless router. You could go down to the hotel front office to surf or use the wifi. However, they allow smoking in that area and it can be quite a hazard sitting amongst the toxic fumes. I pity the frontline staff. They have to smile, serve and endure the smoke 24/7. Perhaps the management can consider their health and close up one corner so that smokers can have all the smoke to themselves.
As reported by others, food like MacDonald's and other restaurants are found along the main road. We went to Lugner City via the metro, exit at U6 Burggasse-Stadthalle. Lots of restaurants with prices to suit everyone to choose from.
To get to Vienna airport, just buy 2 train tickets per person and validate them (1 ticket if you have the 24 or 48 hrs pass or Vienna pass). Take from Alser-Str to Handelskai. Change to the blue line S7. Cheap and fast.

Room Tip: Must have own laptop to access internet in room.

The hotel is not great, and their revenue management is crazy, one night for 30€ the next night for 80€. Is a bit far from downtown, but the tram takes you in 15 minutes. Probably the worst hotel we stayed in our trip. However if you stay for 30€ is good price-quality. Breakfast is totally worth paying the 5€.

A clean hotel to spend a few nights. Clean and quiet (get the room at the back away from the street) The overall staff are very HELPFUL!! A one Day tour I booked did not picked me up from the hotel, but the hotel staff was very helpful, she called the Tour company for me as I requested. The safe was not functioning, The hotel staff again fixed it. Hotel is close to the Metro station and some nearby restaurants. They Provide a wide array of breakfast selection for only 5 Euro which is very good. NO Wi-Fi in the room, only in the lobby where guest are allowed to smoke cigarette, which is bad for me since I am asthmatic i was exposed to 2nd hand smoke. Request for extra towels and pillow as they provide only tiny ones. No swimming pool, no restaurant so I cannot comment on that.

The quadruple room offered to us for our 2 night stay as a family was large (6 beds), reasonably priced and clean. The mattresses and pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. The hotel has a 'smart hostel' feel to it. We booked it for the advertised parking, but arrived to find there were only a couple of spaces in their 'car park' and these were taken (it wasn't possible to reserve). Had to move the car at 7am as it was in a tow-way zone - not an ideal start. The staff were not particularly helpful with this issue and also expected payment before we had stayed the night which added to the backpacker feel. If you just want a cheap(ish) bed for the night, then this would do the job in terms of location and price, but I think I could have found something with a little more soul for the same price.

+ The hotel is really close to the metro station and some really nice restaurants. You can walk from here and enjoy the neighborhood. On the ground floor is the lounge with free wifi and bar. The parking costs 9 euro per day. Room clean, warm and comfortable, helpful staff, fast wired internet access, excellent value for money

- The cleaning lady came in our room at 8:30 in the morning while some of us were still sleeping. No internet in rooms, hard to find street parking around.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days in order to explore Wien. The place was good, not too far away from the train station. The area was ok, there were no need to be afraid even in the night. No bustling nightlige, but who wants the hotel to be in the middle of noisy area? The rooms were ok, with no fancy equipment but a safe in the room. The doors were not too good in isolating the noise from the corridors, but the hotel is quite quiet anyway. The staff was nice.
Good value for the money and the 5 euros (?) for a breakfast is really worth of paying. The breakfast is really good.
