“It's ok for a short, low budget stay”
Reviewed 18 May 2013

We've stayed there for 3 nights and it was rather OK, a low budget place. The price is OK.
A tip: cheap parking garage 400m away. You go pass the hotel. take first right, then, at the end of the street right again. There is a parking next to Merkur supermarket for only 3eur/day. The entrance is from the other direction!
A receptionist told us about this parking, even though the hotel has its own parking nearby at the cost of a bit less than 10eur/day.
A tram number 46 will take you to the center or a bus nr. 48a. The ticket costs 2,2eur one way, and you can buy it in the tram. The stop is right in front of the hotel.
Breakfast costs 5eur, but there are simple Turkish fast food places with 3,5 for a kebab+pepsi.
The room is OK, but the carpet is terribly dirty.
The baby cot was already in the room when we arrived, which was nice.
The carpet is very dirty.

I stayed here for about a week in January 2013. It's a bit far out of the centre, but there is a metro and train 5 minutes away that takes you straight to most of the tourist spots. There are also a few shopping centres nearby. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. One problem was the poor blinds in our room didn't work so it was still quite bright in the room at night. The staff on check in were also a bit abrupt, however, they seemed friendly the rest of the time...

We stayed there in August 2012 and that's only because we tried to minimize as much as possible a long and costly trip in Europe.
Plus: cleanness
Breakfast is better than everything else and is the only thing that resembles a 3 stars hotel.
Average:
Location - Ten minutes walk to the Metro station (Ottakring) and then a 15 minutes trip to the centre of the city. The tram station is just in front of the hotel but that's good only for visiting the Schonbrunn Castle area.
You can park you car free only after finding a free spot on the vicinity streets but that's not so difficult.
The staff at the reception act a bit strange: not rude but also not very helpful, no smiles, nothing. They don't seem to enjoy what they are doing.
Minus
Everything looks and feels old: rooms, furniture and bathrooms.
If you get a room facing the street as we did yoú may have problems with the noise of the traffic. The old windows can't cope with that.
In Romania Hadrigan would hardly be a 2 stars hotel and in no case a 3 stars but the wonderful city of Vienna compensates for it all.

Ok hotel. I've used to sleep in hostels, so that's why this hotel was comfortable to me. But in fact, it's pretty old, the location is far away from centrum (even though you can pretty easily go with metro straight to the old town - takes about 15 min, but you have to also walk to the metro station for awhile). Staff was friendly, actually guy in reception had really good sense of humor. We came here, because it was the cheapest one. You can eat breakfast by paying 5 € more to reception. We didn't, so I don't know about that..

地毯很脏,房间很旧,浴缸堵住,整个房间充斥着陈旧的味道。前台区域烟味浓重。blanket was old and dirty, old room, facility. Basin was stuck. The smell in the room was not good.Lobby was smokey. The only thing was the owner of the hostel was okay, helpful.

This is a budget hotel and as such does a great job giving you a decent sized and clean room. No complaints. If you want just to sleep there this is a great, cheap place. The romm is OK but furniture is quiet dark and heavy and you wouldn't want to spend too much time there. But then it's very cheap. Location is excellent for the Wilehelimen hospital which is virtually across the street. 10 minutes or so of walking takes you to the subway which goes right to the centre of Vienna. Excellent. Breakfeats was good with reasonable choice and quality. Service was helpful and efficcient.
