A relaxing escape from the city cycling along the Danube in the Wachau valley. Adam, was a great guide full of knowledge about wine, history and culture in the Wachau valley. The cycling was generally flat and not too strenuous. The bikes were well kept and worked well for the trip. We had a chance for a swim and enjoyed the ferry ride across the river. The wineries we visited were owned by local families. Adam had built relationships with them and they were funny, accomodating and friendly. For a bit extra we got a great BBQ of local meats. We bought a few bottles of wine for the rest of our travels through Europe.
