“Nice designer hotel with hot rooms in summer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 October 2012

The location is good, in a quiet area despite proximity to Maria Hilf shopping area. It is close to Metro station Neubagasse on Maria Hilf shopping street about 500 metres, but the shopping street and metro is on a hill so get ready for this hiking if you love walks. Small supermarket is within 200 meters east of hotel.
The hotel is an ordinary apartment building from outside and enterance, but as you enter your apartment, you will definetly feel the difference. I asked for a single bed room but was a suite having one double bedroom, a seperate sitting and work place with wardrobe was great. The bath room was slightly outdated but sprakling clean with quality toiletries. It was very hot in June but no airconditioning in bed or living room which was very necessary.
The breakfast was great experience with quality crockery & cuttlery and good views from top floor breakfast room. There was lot of breakfast choice from cheese, fruits, breads, cakes, jams, yougurt, tea, coffee etc. The sitting area next to breakfast room was very niceplace to enjoy after breakfast.
Nice experience except room with padestal fan without A/C was very hot.

The "Bella Vienna" is not beautiful from the outside but for someone who has lived in Vienna for years as a student they have have done a good job adapting a typical "palazzo" into a fairly modern and reasonably priced hotel. The rooms on the top get more sun and they all seem to be large and quality fitted. Strange combination of modern decor and original staircase which is shared by other appartements and offices lower down. All in all to be reccomended as qualitative solid and functional at a good price. Breakfast fits the price.

Room Tip: Ask for special rates either off season or group. They are good value. Top floors have better views

I had a great time staying at Bella Vienna city apartment. The apartment was huge with Venitian style decoration. Great location, just 2 minutes to the tram and subway staytion. For those people love walking so this apartment is a great choice, you can walk to the old streets within 15 minutes. Highly recommended

This was a reasonable hotel located within easy walking distance of the city center. The staff was helpful and the rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is a little skimpy but is OK. For my American friends there is no air conditioning, there are fans in the room. If you have a car the parking in 18e a day.

Good location, very much close to the old part of the city and majority of the attractions ... very close to Mariahilfer strasse, the main shopping street in Vienna .... Rooms are quite spacious & comfortable ... good value for money considering the location & facility... though internet is not continuous and have to reconnect after every 2-3 hours and also the breakfast was too basic

Bella Vienna was decent--didn't have any major issues, but at the same time it didn't really impress.

The location is good, in a quiet area despite proximity to shopping, and short taxi ride to central areas.

The entrance is odd considering you buzz into a door and take a lift to reception on 6th floor. The service by the staff was good but not outstanding. The restaurant is by the reception--breakfast was mediocre, a continental buffet and zero hot food.

Our room was huge, very spacious and light. Unfortunately the space is not used well. The room is so large that it feels barren, being inadequately furnished to fill the space. The television is ridiculously small for the size of room. Some aspects had a budget feel too, such as the industrial toilet paper and tissue dispensers that you see in public toilets. There is also no air con.

Wifi is available but the router connection is on one side of each floors lobby only. As we were on the opposite side we could not reach it from the bedroom, only living room, as it was too far--a bit of an inconvenience.

Overall the hotel was decent, just don't expect to be wowed.

My friends and I stayed at Bella Vienna in February. The location of the hotel was a short distance (10euros by taxi) from the Vienna train station and a 5min walk to the nearest metro and the main shopping district! Restaurants littered the neighbourhood and the largest Market is a 15min walk away. Main tourist attractions are also a 15min walk away and the location of the hotel is just superb.

We stayed in a family room which had a living area with 3 beds and a separate room with a double bed. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. The decor was elegant and you'll find everything you need inside. The bath is luxurious and very spacious.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly too. They were always ready to help and constantly made us feel valued as customers!

Breakfast was plentiful and they even have free flow of prosecco for breakkie!

Definitely a must-stay!
