We have been many times to Kervansaray and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is plush and comfortable without being over formal. If you wish you can watch your fish being cooked as the three chefs whizz slickly about behind the counter with its extensive display of fish and lobster. If you prefer, you can sit further down the room and relax in a cosy corner. If the restaurant isn't full, they will cook to your request as well as from the menu. Try their Lobster bisque, rich and full flavoured with morsels of lobster in its depths. Follow this with the 'Skipper', mixed fish including turbot in lemon butter sauce. Finish with a chocolate souffle, light and fluffy. You can watch it being prepared at the dessert counter which is stacked high with fresh fruit. Local wines are worth trying, Service is smooth without being fussy. Prices are good value for a good restaurant in a capital city. Meat dishes are also available. You can book on line, which is a good idea at weekends anfd holidays.
