Normal hotel for this price, but in room you will hear your neighbors from other rooms, what are they doing, breakfast is normal, but could be more and more better, room with transparent walls in bathroom this is not nice. On the reception working very polite staff. Normal hotel for business trips one or two nights.

Right next to the Praterstern underground station, you can take the U1 (red line) right to the center of the city. Follow the road with the big building that says "Austrian Standards" on it and bear left at the filling station. Kind of confusing if you use the hotel's directions. I stayed in the 1 person room and it was very nice and clean. There is no A/C but i went at the end of December and didn't need it. The internet works very well. Look in the hotel book on the desk for the wifi password. The staff was very nice and always would say hi or bye when i was coming or going.

The morning breakfast isn't anything special but it was nice that it was included in the very low price of the room. The bed was a little stiff, but i don't really expect the best beds when staying in hotels. Great location close to the center of the city and i will def stay here again if i am ever travelling solo.

Room Tip: No A/C, probably not good if you come during the hotter months.

200 metres from U Bahn. S7 direct from airport; 2 or 3 stops from city centre. Clean modernised, spacious rooms. Helpful staff, good breakfast. Only negative is the area which is a bit run down and lacking in facilities (restaurants etc.) Very satisfied with our visit.

First let me clarify that when I say good location, I mean that it is easily accessible to the Praterstern U-Bahn station (5 - 10 minute walk depending on how fast you walk) and a very short ride to the main stops. The actual location of the hotel is not in the heart of anything really. The area can be a little shady at night, but I never once felt threatened (I am female). The hotel itself is simple. The rooms are nicer/updated than what the lobby presents. The only issue is the shower does not have a complete seal so the water gets all over the bathroom floor. Also, no AC or at least we couldn't find the wall panel for it. Even with open windows there really isn't a breeze because there is a tall building adjacent to the hotel and the windows only open about an inch at an angle. We asked the front desk for fans and they gave us 2 little ones that we kept during our stay. The breakfast was ok. We got down there 30 mins before breakfast ended one day and there weren't anymore eggs. I just can't eat deli meat in the morning so eggs were my only source of protein. When we asked for more eggs they said there aren't anymore. The girl went back to the kitchen though and then came and told us they would make us eggs. I think that was irritating because they still had 30 mins left of breakfast, but this only happened 1 of the 4 days we had breakfast! You leave the keys at the front desk every time you leave so if you don't like that, just know that you have to because the keys are bulky and weighted with about a 1/2 lb weight. They have a computer in the lobby to use, but also wifi in the rooms. Only 1 channel (CNN) in English on the tv. Overall, I would stay here again.

Recently stayed at Hotel Vienna for 4 nights. Only a 5 minute walk from the Praterstern U Bahn station, and only a couple of stops to the city centre, so it was very convenient.
The room was clean and updated and really nice. The breakfast was perfect. A lot of meats and cheeses, which I always find odd for the morning, but they had scrambled eggs, yogurt and bread so it was great for me. Would definitely stay there again, all around a good experience.

Stayed for two nights to attend a major conference. Great value single room, 3 minutes walk from the metro and only 2 stops to the conference centre. Other delegates were paying twice as much for worse rooms in less convenient locations.
Good buffet breakfast with lots of variety - including muesli with chocolate! Helpful staff.
Only criticisms were that the room, being on the top floor, was very hot before the air con kicked in (a couple of hours), and that the bathroom had a glass wall (though this being a single room, not a problem! Not sure if the doubles and larger are the same). Also, there is only one small lift to serve 42 rooms on five floors, which makes for congestion in the mornings

Room Tip: Top floor rooms quite small and hot

We chose the Hotel Vienna for convenience as we were collecting a vehicle the next morning. We were delighted with the friendly personalised service we received. The receptionist was very helpful and the hotel was very comfortable and the welcome drink in the bar at the hotel was a really nice touch. If you don't need to be right in the city centre, the Hotel Vienna is a great option.
