Owner description: Kjosterudjuvet is a 10.000 year old, spectacular, ravine only 10 minutes from Drammen centre. The ravine is 1300meters long and the stone walls are more than 60meters high. A more exiting excursion is hard to find!

Can be a bit exhausting if you're not too used to hiking. The end of the hike can be a bit challenging with a small climb up some ladders that are attached to the rock itself. It can also be a bit wet because of a small stream next to the ladders. But great fun and a bit challenging.

A really nice walk up the canyon for those who are in for a bit of fun! The trip itself takes everything from 30 minutes to a couple of hours, depends on how fast you want to go, and how fast you are able to go ;)

At first it's at nice walk, a bit jumping from stone to stone to get over the rivers, but the further you get up, the harder it gets, it's great for kids down to 5-6, but some areas might be a bit steep and scary for them. Two places in the canoyn you also have to climb up ladders. But I've had my dog with me all the times I've been up there so no problem if you know whatis waiting for you :)

An interesting canyon for everybody. At the highest - the walls are 60 meter high. The tour up takes around 1 hour. You walk in the bottom of a narrow canyon, following and criss crossing the stream that flows here. During the spring (snow melting) and after heavy rains the tour can be considered difficult - an you WILL get wet. Under normal conditions - your shoes or booths can get wet.
You have to climb two small waterfalls, but there is both a latter and a rope on both places.
At the top - you'll find a dam where it's possible to swim if you like.

Not suited for the smallest children, but a very exciting walk/climb for kids from say 8-10 and up.
You may get a little wet near the top.

A nice 1 hour walk through a canyon with waterfalls to climb. On topr there is a lovely small lake and nice wiew over the valley. You will be wet on your feet, but it is worth it.
