We had a great tour and were well looked after while waiting it the northern lights which we saw at around midnight. But the campfire, warm drinks, Hot Dogs and so on kept us warm. It was lovely to meet the guides as well and we got a lot of information on the culture as well. We can highly recommend Polar Adventures. Thank you.

The friendly crew greeted us at the dock before we hop on their nice cruise. The weather was very nice & the view was magnificent around the fjord, the guy crews would talk to each of us during the journey and I learnt many things about Tromsø! Despite its being too cold and windy and I didn’t catch any fish, it was fun and I had a great time meeting them! A crew also lent me a pair of gloves to keep me a little warmer :) The fish soup is yummy! And the hot coffee/chocolate saved me a few times from the coldness. Highly recommended and I would definitely go back for more fishing next time!

Dear guest, thank you so much for the lovely response. We try our best to improve our excursions and your feedback means the world to us. In Scandinavia the relaxed hiking lifestyle is our way to enjoy highlife. The intimate conversations out in fresh air while fishing it’s our luxury. To be with us is simply an authentic family experience, nothing fancy only genuine nature experiences.
Thank you once again for kind words and welcome back.

Kind regards

It was a family trip (no teenagers) planned for over a year . We took the tour last weekend. The weather wasn’t the best it was showering when we met at the meeting point, our tour guide Veronica, was being honest with us to offer options to either refund or continue and take the chance to see if we can see any northern lights.

We decided to take the chance given that we won’t have much time and the chance won’t be much better the following day anyway. Initially the guide said we may go to Finland but ended up in Storfjorden where we get to see some. The bonfire, hot dog and soup was a lovely touch to the experience (tho a bit dragged at some point).

We all understand that there’s no guarantee if we’re going to see the lights or not, it depends on so many uncontrollable factors. What I feel could have been better was the guide and the photo taking part. She’s new and trying hard, did ok job but imagine the guide being more fluent in English and more experienced with the northern lights , the stories , as well as how to handle the group (some people got to take more photos than others. Some questions could have been answered better etc ) our experience could have been quite significantly better. And more importantly, it’s been almost a week and we haven’t received the photos promised by the tour. We go on a trip, we love to see photos, and this has been days after be returned to our country and haven’t received any yet. I don’t expect it to be postcard quality, it shouldn’t be heavily retouched to enhanced what we saw. Just some professional photos that are a bit better than what we can take ourselves to keep and share with friends. I may recommend this tour to friends and family but might as well suggest them to explore several options as well.

Dear guest, thank you for taking your time writing us and thank you for joining our tour. We always try our best to get better, as it goes for the guides it’s always a first time for everyone and our guides try to please their guests and create a memorable experience for you.
It’s a hard job as we work nighttime and in freezing cold weather and everyone expect the night to be perfect.
Some times our guests give us a wrong email and then we get the blame for not sending the pictures out. We will investigate what happened in your case so you will get what you have paid for dear guest.
We put our pride in what we deliver and your opinion means the world to us.
Next time you join us we hope to do better.

Kind regards
Marlene and the team
