Located close to the Town Hall building, easy to find far from the crowdy and poshy Aker Brygge (and as such it is much easier to find a table even during the exhibition periods), this restaurant has fiven me two pleasurable experiences and I strongly recommend it to the lovers of Japanese food.
The ambient is nice and well laid out, not very big so I would recommend to call for reservation.
The first time I was there I took my usual sashimi, which was very nice and fresh. The second time I accepted the suggestion of the excellent waiter, and together with my party of four we selected the Chef's menu, and our price (we were asked how much we wanted to spend on a range between 450 and 1400+ NOK) was set at 500 NOK, so just a little above the minimum.
What we got made us wonder what we would have got had we spent more... it was simply excellent, and so abundant that we had to leave some.
