“Surely one of Oslo's great treasures”
Reviewed 26 December 2013

I say that because (until recently maybe) there aren't many boys who haven't heard or read the stories of Thor Heyerdah and Kon Tiki. For me this is a holy grail site. It's all here, Kon Tiki, RA, Tigris, the adventures, the memorabilia, the spirit of adventure, maybe even the ghost of the great man himself.
As if I even need to push this product, obviously 'true' adventurers will be heading to this place, compass in hand, without the aid of my review anyway. You know who you are, see you there.

“Fascinating to see the Reed boat”
Reviewed 24 December 2013

Something from my youth, one of my first memories is making a balsa wood boat with my older cousin - though it looked nothing like the real thing.
The Norwegians obviously like us 'Brits' as everything is described in Norwegian and English !
Very highly recommended
