“Need some refurbishment”
Reviewed 6 February 2014

Stayed there a couple of times, customer service is very good staff are friendly, got upgraded to business floors twice. However restaurants close early, at 10 last room service call at 11, Gym is tiny and swimming pool is minuscule.
I heard Skybar on floor 34 is the best in town though I've never been. The hotel need some refurbishment, has a "tired" look and feel

The rooms were ok, but old fahshioned. The bathroom were cold and had very bad lightening. Could hardly see anything when I were to put make up on. The hotel needs an upgrade. The facilities does not stand to the price level of an room.

High level Radisson. Only 210€ per night. Compared with Radisson , London West End, Leicaster Square 650€, it is cheap.

The rooms are perfect. Very friendly and helpfull stuff.

View to the Bay.

Eating whale is normal in Norway.

Oslo is one of the most expensive places in the world. For example coca cola 0,2l 12€

I stayed in this hotel for two nights on a business trip in January 2014.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and did everything possible to ensure that I had a great stay. They allowed me to check in three hours early (at no extra cost) and also to check up three hours late (again with no charge).

The room was very clean, well equipped (tea/coffee making facilities, iron, hair dryer) and had a wonderful view (I was on the 22nd floor). The bed was comfortable and the duvet was the warmest I have ever slept under.

The lifts are amazing - it took around 3 seconds to go from the ground to 22nd floor.

It is in a great location - literally 2-3 minute walk from Oslo Central Station. There are plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. I did return back to the hotel late one evening and decided to order room service (smoked salmon and scrambled egg sandwich) which was delicious and professionally served.

I didn't have time to sample the buffet breakfast but heard from other guests that it was very good.

I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely intend to try other hotels in the Radisson Blu chain in the future.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor for a great view of Oslo.

Stayed here for 2 weeks on business trip. Room was very comfortable. The location is very good next to central train station and metro station. Its also next to main auditorium so can get extremely busy when there's a popular show/concert in town. Being right downtown means you are close to the harbour and the main urban attractions. Oslo is not so big so from hotel can walk to most everything. The staff were excellent. The buffet breakfast was really quite good with large selection and never any shortage. The fitness center has a wonderful rooftop view but is limited to cardio and lower body work. The indoor pool is rather small but difficult to find elsewhere in Oslo. There are numerous eating options but I didn't use them since there are many eating options within short walking distance.
