This hotel has a good location. 4 minutes to walk to the central station, and a couple of more minutes to get to the shopping street. You should expect to spend 1300 NOK for a night.

The business rooms are refurbished. They are normally over 16th floor.

We stayed here for one night during our trip to Norway, there was a slight mixup with our room but it was sorted in the end and we got a business class room on the 25th floor. The view was INCREDIBLE!!! The staff are very helpful and attentive. The hotel is massive, the lifts are even sectioned off to floors 1-16 and 17-33, the last two floors 34 and 35 can be accessed from an outside glass lift where you can see all of Oslo. The hotel has a sky bar which can be a good view, as long as it's not raining, then you can't see much. Drinks were pretty expensive here too.

The location was great, just a two minute walk to the station and a 5 minute walk into the main street Karl Johan. Everything was close by.

Breakfast choice was incredible, no doubt you would find something you want to eat.

Check out was 12pm and the lobby is PACKED at this time, so either check out slightly earlier or ask for a late check out.

Overall, very happy we stayed in this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Try and get a room on a higher floor so you get a good view!

A hotel in the heart of the town with a beautiful view. But hotel needs an upgrade, cleaning of the pool, better service at check in and out, better service of the rooms, new carpets and much more. I would recommend for the view from the 34th floor and location in the centre next to the central station.

The hotel is adjacent to the train station. It's a big, busy hotel. Check-in was efficient. Rooms are large, clean and nicely appointed. Our room was on the 19th floor, with a great view of the harbor and city. We had dinner in the restaurant on the top floor - food was okay, but the view is the main attraction. Breakfast buffet was good, but the restaurant gets crazy busy. In addition to the convenient location next to the train station, the underground, tram and multiple buses are close by.

This hotel has just about everything. It is centrally located, within a block of the train station, travel information office, and metro and other transit systems. Both times we stayed, the room was top-notch: comfortable beds, well-appointed, all necessities, and great view. The breakfast had the greatest selection of any hotel we've stayed at. Very good service as well. And, the hotel reasonably priced for expensive Oslo.

Room Tip: Higher floors are definitely quiet.

Stayed 1 night on this hotel . It's a large hotel, standard rooms situated up to 16th floor, business and Suites higher up. We had a room on 12th floor. Very comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, had a good night sleep. Hotel is modern, a bit worn, in need of some refurbishment.
Breakfast included in room rate. A lot to choose from, but breakfastroom very crowded.
Overfall a good choice.

On the plus side:
+ The tallest building in Oslo, the Radisson Blu offers great views.
+ The rooms are quiet.
+ The bed was fine.
+ Internet access is included and high speed. Hooray!
+ Nice employees.
+ Bathrobe in room. (Called and staff brought a second and extra hangers.)

Plus and minus:
+/- Big hotel. You should be able to get a room, but lobby lines are long, elevators overworked.
+/- Location right by the train station. Convenient but a dodgy area with drug problems.
+/- Nice coffee maker in the room, but unable to get more coffee after initial supply ran out. (Called; all she could find was instant.)
+/- Breakfast buffet is large, but crowded and the same every day. A friend from the tourist board said that it is not up to Norwegian standards for quality.
+/- Small pool on floor 36 and small exercise room with great view on 37. The elevator only goes to 32, then you must climb a spiral staircase, go down the hall and up more stairs. If you can't climb stairs you can't swim.
+/- Good, but expensive, restaurant and bar on 34. Great view, hard to get to. Views only out one side of building. Too bad they didn't take advantage of 360 view.

Minus:
- I am not physically limited, but noticed that by U.S. ADA standards, this hotel is a nightmare. There must be assessable rooms somewhere here, but our room has a high door threshold, a large step up into the bathroom, and a shorter person (like me) has quite a climb into the tub for a shower. The elevators don't always stop level with the floors, so there is often a tripping hazard.
- Comforter/duvet is much smaller than bed, so for one person only. If two guests and there is not another in closet, you should call for one. The duvet covers are washable sheets, so that's a plus.
- Breakfast area can be total chaos. Thursday and Friday were okay. Saturday there was nowhere to sit. Sunday they opened the nicer outer area.
- Elevators slow to arrive; doors close quickly; keys needed, but don't always work.

Some easy fixes for hotel management:
- Get your elevators repaired. They should stop level on the floors. They must not all work or we would see them more often. Sometimes the doors close immediately on people, other time they open back up and stay open.
- Open the outer room for breakfast whenever you are at a booked level where the main breakfast area will be crowded.
- If a room is booked for two people, provide a double-size duvet and two robes.
- Fully staff front desk and other desks. Check in and out lines are huge.

Overall, this is a big tourist hotel of average quality. Not ideal for business travel or meetings.

Room Tip: Ask if there are accommodations if your mobility is impaired. If you need accessibility, you probabl...
