“Staying for 20 days”

Amazing location and the bus stop from the airport (flybussen) is right in front of the hotel - this makes arrival from the airport great. I see the Oslo Palace and the water from my window. Everything is a short walk from the hotel. My room is quiet and well maintained. Looks like a modern room and no problems whatsoever. The reception area and the rooms have free internet. A nice bar on the 21st floor. Breakfast is really great with lots of selection. Also a nice area with fresh fruit and vegetables. The workout area, steam room and the pool is good. This hotel feels like a great place to be when you are away from home.

Stayed one night in this Hotel. First time staying in a Radisson Blu property and in comparison to the other 4 we stayed afterwards, this was the nicest of them all. The room was rather big, centrally located and had a bustling little area during the day. This is the last stop on the express shuttle bus from the airport, which I recommend taking it was only 240 KR roundtrip, which was extremely cheap and easy to use. It was also the first stop on the way back to the airport so you can choose your seat. It was about 40 minutes to and from the airport. The free breakfast was awesome as was all other areas of the room.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the mountains. It was really cool to see the streets bustling and thesun never...

Amazing location....Bang in the centre....... 1 star out of 4 is for the flygbuss stop right in front......very convinient arrival from the airport.Public transportation is also easily available and the oslo palace and the city hall .....just a few minutes walk.

We had a smooth early check in with and the reception staff was very friendly and efficient.......... answering all our queries .

The room was decent and clean.......... although not very modern....... but good views........

The views from the 21st floor is amazing ....looking out over the oslo fjord.........

Very convinient hotel for a 1 night stay in Oslo.

The rooms really are old and worn – wiring hanging off the walls, furniture used and dated, dingy furnishings. But up there on the 20th floor with a superb view of Oslo Fjord, who cares? Tremendous views.
It is extremely well located, with the Flybus to the airport leaving from just outside the door.
Pool and gym small, and dark. Buffet breakfast in an enormous cavern of a restaurant, but with the usual excellent selection (including the wonderful smoked salmon you get in most places – what a treat). Just be careful at the weekends – they lock the doors at 11 on the dot, if you are not in, NO brekkie!
Not bad, not great either, apart from the view from the 20th floor.

Room Tip: Up high high high on the 20th floor with the view of the Fjord.

We wanted to check out the hotels in our town, and ordered this online 1 day before arrival. I liked this hotel and we got a really great panorama view over Oslo. The rooms was clean, big and nice, and the service at the hotel was good. The breakfast was great .

Room Tip: Try to get a room as high as possible , since the view is to die for..

Clean, tidy modern room, reasonable size. Room was very quiet despite being right next to the lift lobby - it's rare to get a well soundproofed hotel room these days.

Staff were polite and efficient - although my mini bar did not get restocked but I guess I could have asked them.

Huge windows in my room (15th floor) looked out across Oslo and to the Fjord. View from the 21st floor bar is fantastic.

Breakfast was good, huge choice, something to suit every nationality, though I'm not sure I've met anyone who eats raw radishes for breakfast but someone must do. Hotel restaurant has a limited menu but service and food quality were excellent and there are large number of restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel. For those of you who have never been to Scandinavia - be warned food and drink is very expensive but generally very good quality. Typically food and drinks are at least twice the price of the UK.

Overall a decent hotel, you get what you expect and it's in a nice part of Oslo, close to the Palace and a short walk from the centre and waterfront.
