“Reasonable hotel”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2014 via mobile

This hotel is a great reasonable and clean hotel in oslo. The rooms are quite generous by oslo status. Wifi is provided and is great quality.

Breakfast is included and is of reasonable quality. The hotel is walking distance from the train station.

I'm very pleased with the hotel. First of all the staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and had a modern (looked almost new!) bathroom.

Breakfast was also good, lots of different products to choose from. If I had to give one advice then it would be that I prefer things like marmalade to be in small personal servings, instead of a large jug where everyone gets his/her marmalade from. That feels more hygenic.

Why 5 stars? I think it has the best price/quality you can get in Oslo.

Close to the railway station, excellent when you are travelling by train like me. A nice view from the room, which was really comfortable and clean. The staff was kind and helpful, great to have an electric kettle to prepare tea or coffee in the room.

I have stayed here a few times now and have generally had good experiences. It is most certainly the best value for your money in Oslo. The location is great - easy walking distance to the main train station and right on a tram line. A short walk to Grunnerlokka, a funky area with lots of restaurants and bars. The rooms are pretty basic, it is a budget hotel, but they are very adequate for the price and breakfast is included. The staff has always been friendly and helpful with booking, late arrvals, luggage holding, information, etc... I live on the West Coast of Norway and we always stay here when we go to Oslo.

We were a little messy in he booking and did some mistakes, but the service to change things and make it preferable for us was absolutely great. We highly recommend this place. The view from the room was great - the kids were just siting in the window in the morning - watching the town wake up. The breakfast was a little boring, but we really did not care, since everything else was so great SERVICE.

I stayed in this hotel two times last year and was very impressed with the service. It is probably one of the better option price and location wise in Oslo.
The hotel is in a very good location, a very short walk to central bus / train / metro station. You have plenty of small bars and restaurants nearby. The room was clean, modern and basic; the bathrooms have a nice design. I had room had a great view over the city.
The staff was very friendly and professional. I found the breakfast excellent; there was a huge variety of food types. You can make your own sandwich package for lunch which is a good option since Oslo is one of the most expensive cities in Europe.

My chosen option for accommodation in Oslo

Room Tip: Avoid rooms facing towards Storgata with the main ambulance station for Oslo opposit the hotel.

What more can I say. It is a budget hotel about 650m outside the city centre and I couldn't fault anything at all about the hotel. Room was clean, WIFI was brilliant breakfast was tasty and English speaking really helped me out.
