We arrived a bit early for a lunch deal (GroupOn), but the waiter made no fuss of that and even gave us sodas on the house, even though they weren't really part of the deal.

The interior of the restaurant was interesting and pleasant - they have book shelves with random books you may even take home with you if you bring one to swop it with. There are also lots of board games available, and they offer smoothies with rum, if that is your kind of thing. :) A restaurant with personality, and a nice very personality, too.

The food was very nice - I had a falafel plate, and both the falafel and the hummus and the rest of it tasted great. My husband had the menguez plate, with was also great - and he can be fussy with food, so that means a lot coming from him. This place is warmly recommended if you are nearby Alexander Kiellands plass - or even if you're not, but fancy going anyway. It's a great place to hang out with friends or just sit by yourself, too. I came with my husband, and we had a lovely lunch experience here.

We had a healthy walk out from the city centre to find this place but it was worth it. It's more of a cafe than a restaurant and as we were looking for dinner we wondered if the food would be substantial enough. It was. The food was surprisingly filling and delicious. The Kasbah has a nice, chilled vibe and even has board games that you can play. I would eat here again.

Had a nice evening here catching up with some friends. The food was awesome, portions massive. We got some helpful tips from the waiter, so avoided ordering the biggest dishes. Good atmosphere, with a range of board games to choose from, and yatzee at the tables! Probably a nice spot for a pint too.

The place is really fun and funky, French staff very friendly and food tasted great. We had meze and it was gorgeous. As I'm veggie, it was great to find a selection of non-meat dishes. selection of beers also good and slightly cheaper than elsewhere in Oslo (relatively speaking)! There's a bus stop almost outside so isn't too difficult to get to from main part of town, would recommend this place.

It's a cosy, little restaurant at Alexander Kiellands plass which serves great falafel and cheap beer. If you're on a budget, the Kasbah is great value!
