It was a good museum, however not that very attractive to me as I am not very interested in film industry etc. I went there as it was on my route and I had the Oslo pass bought with which the entrance was free there. Actually I would not visit that museum if I didn't have the Olso pass.

This wonderful museum with attached cinema not only presents the history of Scandinavian cinema but also runs frequent and inventive seasons of films from all over the world. Special sessions for families with young children and for schoolchildren are valuable features in growing Oslo's future cinema audience. The dedicated staff know and love film and provide an excellent alternative to regular multiplex fare. There's also a bright, pleasant cafe with tempting snacks and plenty of space to sit with friends and talk about film.
