“Ok food at take-away restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2014

A take away restaurant with some tables. To use their one toilet you basically need to go through their kitchen.

We tried 7 of their dishes and a couple of them did not resemble their thai equivalent but still tasty.

I give the place 3/5 as there are several other restaurants and thai take aways in Oslo that beat this place (for instance Risbolle, Minisushi at majorstuen, Lille asia and Sawan).

Would recommend this place for take away and in particular panaeng, red curry and tom kha gai.

“fresh tasting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2014

The food was really good, fresh, tasty and best part.. it was all offered at affordable prices, the kids enjoyed their chicken and beef pad thai as well as their satays. we had a delicious wok fried beef with mushrooms and oyster sauce, very good.
the only down part, i would say, is that the restaurant is quite small, leaving little space between the kitchen and the dining area, so cooking smells were coming out (my hair still smells like food) so I think it is more designed for take away.. the lady in charge is super sweet ...

DEFINITELY COMING BACK FOR MORE.

“Top Thai in Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 February 2014 via mobile

The chefs here have well balanced palates. The menu is uncluttered reinforcing the freshness of their ingredients. I ordered a few things to sample: satay, spring rolls, rice, green curry and Phad Thai. The food remains authentic to Thailand and unpolluted by western influences (eg. Excessive sauce, too sweet/salty).

As a nice surprise, the side salads that came with the starters were extremely good showing off knife skills and flavouring. Will definitely return to try a salad next time given how well this compared to the usual garnish of dry cabbage other places might use.

“Exellent and affordable Thai food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 January 2014

I visited it after having read the reviews on Tripadvisor. It is really a nice surprise. The atmosphere is not great as there are just a few tables for people who do not want to use the take away service, but tableware is of a good level you would not expect in such a place. The contemporary fresco on the main wall is very attractive. As far as atmosphere is converned is definetly not the right place for a first date, but it is highly recommended for (small) groups of friend. Food is good, fresh and cooked to order. portions are copious: a starter and a main will satisfy even the hungriest parties. I had the spring rolls (the most filled I have ever seen) and the Pad Thai: very nice, rightly spiced and reasonably priced. Highly recommended

“Excellent Thai food”

I had the spring rolls for starters and red curry for the main course.

Outstanding prices and food.

They have take -out also.
