There are a lot of mediocre restaurants in Oslo, offering standard unimaginative menus at galling prices for tourists. There's an upward pressure on expectations because of this and many places just don't make the grade. Vuong is a very good restaurant and we were very happy to pay relatively high prices compared to the UK for a great meal. Decor is sleek, well-lit modernism. Service is lovely, friendly and attentive and the food is fresh, generously portioned and imaginatively flavoured. We both had starters and mains and a bottle of wine. If you want a good, pan-Asian menu come here. Good for groups and for couples. One quibble - we were the last in the restaurant on a quiet night but it wasn't late. Please don't cash up when customers are still there.
