Owner description: Sir Winston is a classic English-style pub, centrally located on Karl Johan Street 10, right next to Oslo Cathedral. Since the opening in 1968 we have focused on nice atmosphere, great service and a wide selection of drinks. We are open seven days a week, and with a heated outdoor seating you can enjoy a double latte or a beer while watching people passing by on Oslo's main street.

Very nice pub, with good atmosphere and friendly bartenders. The beers are very good, but a little expensive, so as almost everything in Norway. But you have to go for a least one drink.

If you want a beer or something to eat, this is the place to go. It was the first English pub in Oslo. The interior is all wood but it is a nice place to go. It can feel a bit dark, but the staff are lovely and friendly. As everybody else says, it is not cheep, but nowhere in Norway is cheep. But a great place to go and meet friends and have a drink. Because it is an English pub you will not get the Norwegian feel to it. But we do not really have anything like pubs in Norway. That is why this one is used a lot, not just by the youth but also by people a bit older. A very enjoyable afternoon was had by all.

Very nice English-style pub on the main touristy road. It was a bit gloomy inside, but very welcoming and warm after a cold walk.

Like everything in Oslo - not cheap; thick end of £10 ($15) for a pint of local brew.

Been there on Fryday and there were good music, beers and atmosphere.
The forniture are in wood, lights soffused and two beers cost 140-170 Nok.
You can pay with credit card.
