Was running around in Oslo on the hunt for a restaurant which has a table for two available as we coincidentally landed in Oslo for the football cup finale weekend (completely unintentionally and unknown), for that reason, most restaurants were busy and full.

Luckily Mr. Hong had at that timing available seats, though a bit crowded there (football supporters everywhere). The service was good, quick and effective. The food was great, ordered from the menu. The value for was acceptable in my opinion, as I'm used to the price point in Norway.

The place is kind of small but always crowded with south east asian tourist. Do not try the buffet, its horrible. The only good thing is if u r craving for chinese food, try the a la carte, its somewhat better.

Nothing bad to say about Mr Hong, the service was good, the food well made and tasty.

We ordered from the menu, not taking the buffet option. Expect a crowd, it is a place that is popular and also frequently serve large groups.

We always made a point to check the Trip Advisor before eating in any restaurant. But anyway we walked in to this "Mongolian/Chinese" restaurant , pretty dark inside and we almost walked out! Then the waiter came, we ordered, spring rolls which had a sour taste and was told they use vinegar..then we ordered crispy duck and noodles. The noodles was just bad, and the crispy duck we had to return as it was not crispy at all and was told by the waiter before we ordered that they duck "is very good" . It is really bad, and even if we were starving that moment, we just couldnt take it! we ate a bit of rice which they charge, and returned the duck! very disappointing and next time we will make sure we read the Trip advisor as it did have a lot of negative comment regarding their food! NEVER NEVER AGAIN!

In the beginning it was very nice design inside of this restaurant. But when we have got babies seats it was dirty and so mych sticky, from the moment I've touched this chair I've got some red sticky particles on my hand. So I cleaned the chairs myself. After we go to buffet table toppick up food, and according to restaurant service the stared to cook in front of us. My boyfriend said to me "Don't you feel any strange old food smell?". I said "no maybe he's wrong" (He have so good nose compare to me). When the chief finished with my food and I've got my plate with food I saw so many burned stuff on my plate. But all my family was so tired from long traveling with the car so we just came at first restaurant where was absolutely empty and enough place for big family from 8 people (my family and my relatives).
My boyfriend refused to eat this food but usually he is eating everything without problems. Because it was burned a lot. My brother also couldn't eat. My mom touched only rice and sauce and some fruit as my sons and me.
Choice of the food is not so big like we used to see usually. In the end we tried to talk to personal but they was running from us when we just start to say how we're disappointed. My boyfriend didn't want to pay at all and I said as kids and mother had some rice and sauce with fruits we can pay less. One woman said "all our guests happy with our good food and you must pay"
so they didn't want to listen us at all. Even we tried to talk nice to them.
My boyfriend looked around and we saw at the kitchen owen where they are cooking so much old fat and they are not cleaning like they should. So old burned food goes to next plate!!! And so much dust everywhere on chairs, tables etc. Mamamia... for this prices they must to have better service and food. We paid 1900 Kronor!!!!!! And it was beginning of our trip to Norway.
People!!! You can try to visit this place, but if you like this kind of food, it's not normal... or too nice. Don't risk with your health!
The funny thing in this story that they are introducing them self as Mongolian restaurant. And they serving ordinary Chinese street food. I known mongolian food and they don't eat shrimps (I was lucky to find two shrimps at all) and so much vegetables. Mongolian food is meat, meat and again meat.
Mr. HONG! Don't fool people!
Norwegian government must close such a dirty and burned place!
The worst experience in our life with the food ever!
