“Good food and famous people”

Just next to theater. Very good food nicely served. Norvegians go there before or after the show. The artists are often present. Their pictures hang on the wall. Here you are surrounded by Norvegian elegance.

“Old traditional decor and ambience, right-up-to-the-minute cuisine”

Don't miss this fabulous restaurant. The seafood is exquisite. Lovely friendly service. And the decor and ambience are from a past era, very classy.

“A real jewel of the city”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

A wonderful restaurant having everything in place to add that spice of "special" to every visit. I went there for a romantic dinner & celebration and experienced an evening challenging to forget. Very well-known wall portraits add to the perception of an unique place with soul. Its luxurious and historical atmosphere, highly competent and kind service, as well as delicious & aesthetically beautiful meals make excellent prerequisites for a perfect evening. The rest is up to who you come with. :)

“One of Oslo's finest”

This is an old and legendary NOrwegian restaurant that simply oozes class. Top professional waitors and great kitchen. I just wish they could change their menu more often as I eat here a lot.

“Great Club Sandwich!!”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

Stopped in for lunch while on a recent visit to Oslo. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and highly popular with clientele judging from how busy it was. Fabulous open sandwich buffet at the weekends but I opted for the Club Sandwich and glad I did. As with most things in Oslo - very pricey, but being a Londoner, not too much of a shock. The restaurant is just opposite the National Theatre and close to the a Royal Palace.
