Went here for anniversary celebration, was a horrible experience.
First off, the prices are high, though that can be excused as beef is expensive in Norway.
We ordered 2 large steaks, one rare, one medium, 1 Bearnaise and 1 Red Wine Sauce. What we received was, 1 rare steak, and one steak going from almost raw on one end, to well done on the other.
We got 2 Bearnaise and no Red Wine Sauce, when I asked for my Red Wine Sauce got treated quite rudely before I got it. The Red Wine Sauce was the only thing with any taste on my plate.
The creamed potatoes tasted watery, and the portion was incredibly small, there was almost no vegetables, and the meat was tasteless, incredibly tender though.
The Bearnaise that my date got was lukewarm, tasted almost like mayo, and was unpalatable.
The dessert we got was apple cake with ice cream, and a Mango and Strawberry sorbet. The ice cream were both covered in Blackcurrant(solbær) sauce, which overpowered all taste in the dessert.
In conclusion I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, tasteless food, bad service, high price.
