We requested for a double bed and it was a twin bed that was given so upgrade was made for us. Our room was an old old one, like made during the 70s. The rest room was not cleaned and the door can only be locked after 20 seconds of closing the same.

Here now for a total of two nights - I am to lazy to make a change at this point. Came in late last night and gave my Carlson Club card which was not on my Reservation - no fault to Radisson. Get to the room and I was caught off guard by not just two twin beds push close per usual. But a wooden set of bunk beds in the corner next to the desk area. Reminded my of summer camp or a make shift hospital. Other than the LG TV the place was old. Tired and Old. The bath room has a huge rust stain on the floor and someone who went to investigate the source of the leak never put the plate back on so you can see behind the wall. The whole feel of the halls and the hotel says time to rename it the The Bates or something else less romantic. The location to the harbour and the High Street area is very good. The breakfast looked and tasted school cafe quality. Never wrote a review like this before but felt the management would want to know.

Room Tip: Pass on room 615 - end of the hall - it is quite I have to say.

I stayed one night in June 2013. The location is good, not far from the city center and very close to the harbor. The bus to the airport stops just outside the hotel. Check in and check out went fast, I got my room at noon.

The room was descent in size with some nice views. The bed was excellent. (I slept like a baby) Breakfast was ok, nothing special but descent enough. The bathroom was medium in size and reasonable clean.

The hotel felt a bit worn in some places and a bit old fashioned. I got a good rate so on the whole I was satisfied.

The Radisson motif of very tired rooms was well in evidence at their Kristiansand hotel. Some things, such as shelving, were worn down to the underlying MDF, window frames were coming apart, and the usual bumps, chips and scrapes were endemic.

The room itself was a decent size, and in that respect an improvement on the one we had left in Oslo that morning. It also had a pleasant view of the harbour, though if you don't find working ports interesting, the view out of some of the rooms would be a disappointment as they overlooked a container terminal

The bathroom would be challenging for the average sized, but when you're "cuddly" like me, well, there wasn't really room to fart properly.

In direct contrast to the rest of the building, the bar and restaurant looked as though a good deal of money had been spent on them recently, though the bar did look as though it could do with a good dusting. The food in the restaurant, though pricey, was of good quality and enjoyable.

This was our 2nd Radisson hotel of our Norwegian holiday, and it felt as if a trend was starting to develop.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms quite spacious however the rooms are quite old fashioned in style but very nice all the same not quite the same as the more modern groups of this hotel. The location is great close to the city centre to walk and a lovely bar downstairs as well as an outside resturant. Had a great stay and will return.

What is good?
- Nice location
- Nice view over Odderøya from the room
- Comfortable bed
- Good service

What is bad?
- Ugly 90's room
- Poor breakfast
- Expensive

The price they charge here is an absolute robbery! The room felt like a low cost motel at best.

Travelled with a group for business. While I got a big room which was also seemingly renovated recently, my colleagues (with one exception) were not that lucky. Small, tired 70s style rooms. However, for my own room, I was as stated quite happy. Lounge area, nice bathroom, great view. Breakfast was ok, but for Norwegian standards (which are quite high when it comes to breakfast in hotels) it was nothing special. Nice conference room on the top floor.
