We stayed with our 3 children at this hotel for two nights. Great atmosphere, very helpful staff, excellent food (!!), playroom for the kids. And: They were able to fit all five of us into one room: One large double bed, 1 bunkbed, and one mattress on the floor. Not the largest room, but we all slept very well. The hotel has taken atmosphere seriously: Being adjacent to the largest zoo in Norway, it is shaped like Nohas ark. The reception area has a life size giraffe, bamboo covers construction details in interior etc. All the rooms have animal names, as well as information about the animal. The biggest surprise was the food though: I just did not expect the breakfast buffet to be of such excellent quality: Lots of fresh fruits, juices, smoothie, hot dishes, waffles, fresh croissants and much, much more. You may pack your own lunch for NOK 60 per person from the breakfast buffet. This must surely be a healthy and good value lunch if you are taking the family for a day at Dyreparken next door.
