Very very basic hotel
For the money. Very clean, friendly staff when you can find someone! Tea and coffee making facities in the communal area only. Comfy enough but a bit like an upscale hostel! There is a train line for passengers and freight that runs at the back of the hotel literally right behind so take the ear plugs!!!! Other than that it was alright!

We like this hotel for the close location to the train (train noise was not a problem). If you are looking for a clean room, nice shower, and a good nights sleep, this is the place.

If you are looking for a breakfast buffet, you won't find it here. At check-in you will be asked to select one of five breakfast sandwiches. At 7:30 am the bag containing your breakfast sandwich will be left hanging outside your room (on the door knob), until you get up.

This is a new hotel, right next to the railway station (which is also convenient for those flying as the airport bus stops at the station) and also a short walk to the city centre.

We stayed in a twin room for 3 nights, and the room was very clean, somewhat sparsely furnished though quite adequate, and comfortable. As a small criticism, it would have been nice to have two chairs, since the room was being occupied by two people. The bathroom was small but extremely clean. Windows could be opened for fresh air. The location was quiet except for some noise from late night revellers drifting across from the city on Friday night (though I suspect this was much worse at any of the centre centre hotels).

Breakfast comes in a paper bag hung on your door handle early each morning and consists of a sandwich (you let reception know your choice of filling the night before), piece of fruit and juice.

Good value, a pleasant place to stay.

Room Tip: Rooms on the opposite side to the rail lines have a nice view of the city.

At first you might think this is not right for you since the hotel is built right between the canals and a busy railway station, however, the rooms were quiet and decor is stylized, artistic and tasteful. It's a very short walk to all the major attractions in central Trondheim and might be the best value for the price. It's also HUGE, so you are very likely to get a room here anytime during the year.

This is next to the central railway station & by a nice marina area. Great value for money. The rooms are large & have good free wifi. Breakfast is included and is a sandwich, a bottle of juice & an apple. Hung outside your door ready for the morning.

This was our one and only stay at a hotel throughout our two weeks trip in Norway. I'm really fussy about the cleanliness of a place, and the hotel room was super clean! The receptionist was friendly but she didn't seem to be too confident about speaking in English. As we arrived on New Year's Eve, I had enquired on whether there were any celebrations going on where we could count down to the New Year. She merely mentioned that there would possibly be fireworks and we would be able to see it from our room. There were small fireworks rumbling on at all hours throughout the night when we were there.

The toilet is very bright and if I remember correctly, there is underfloor heating. Wifi is free and fast too.

Note:

1) breakfast comes with the price, and it is hung via a paperbag on the door knob outside your room in the early morning. Consists of a sandwich, a small bottle of juice and a fruit.

2) hotel is located very near to the NSB station, within a 5-8 mins walk.

3) if you are driving, there is parking space outside the hotel. No, it isn't free for all hours. There is a parking ticket machine right outside the hotel and you can pay for parking there. Parking is free from 8pm to 8am, but I cannot remember if it is everyday. Otherwise, if you wish, you can pay NOK150 at the hotel reception for parking.

Parking is right outside the hotel, so if u have a room facing the road, you would be able to see your car. Otherwise you can always opt for a room facing the train tracks on the other side.

Å nice hotel. Near the trainstation. The rooms are big, clean and nice. Bathromm is also nice. Was pleasant surprised when I arrived. The food was not the best, but the rest is really ok. Trondheim is a really beautiful city. Love this place.
