I stayed here for 2 nights while attending a conference in bergen. I highly suggest for a romantic stay. The breakfast is just unbelievable, entirely homemade. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in two attic rooms. Staff were very friendly and extermely helpful. Small but modern rooms - showers have no glass doors (wetting entire bathroom). Excellent location, breakfast was the best ever.

Room Tip: Rooms on the first floor

Stayed overnight as we were picking up our rent a car for the start of our fjord trip. We were supposed to arrive around 5.30 pm but there was a tunnel accident in the railway between Oslo and Bergen. The trains stopped and had to move everybody by buses. The arrangements took hours! So we ended up arriving around midnight. Had informed them in advance and there was no problem with late arrival. They were very kind and they offered us some fruits and cookies so that we could prepare some tea in our room as we had no energy to go out for dinner at that late hour. The room space was good for us and our extended luggage, clean and comfortable. The bathroom had very nice and powerful shower. Breakfast was excellent with many healthy choices. Service was efficient both in the reception and breakfast area. They pay attention to serve the guests in a prompt way. The only thing I did not like was the lack of elevator and a small step inside of the room separating the bed proper from the rest of the room. If you happen to forget it...

Stayed for two nights. Central location. Small, but nice room, freshly refurbished. Free internet.
Breakfast house made by former guide Michelin chef. Best I've ever tasted in Norway, can only conjure memories from a 5 star Cannes hotel who could compete with the buffet served here!!

We stayed 2 nights at this cozy hotel. We got a room in the attic. The room was small but very nice decorated, modern and with coffee facilities. Regarding the room size, we were already used to it after our stay for one night in Oslo where we had got an extremely small room. I guess that's the way it is if you want to pay a reasonable price in such an expensive country as Norway. We could hear the steps in neighboring rooms but it's normal (it was a wooden house). The staff was always helpful and very nice. Breakfast was amazing: small choice but homemade dishes, warm bread and good quality food (great choice of teas). They don't offer any cakes or bakery but tasty jams are available. The location is good, just a small walk from the city center. It's up on a hill but it wasn't so steep so I don't consider it to be inconvenient. It was a good choice for us: nice small hotel with good value for what we paid.

I liked the hotel, but the noise from the next door room was terrible (neighbours showering, packing, talking and then leaving from 05 to 06 AM). My advise is therefor to stay on the 1st floor.

Came across this b&b by chance. Stayed for one nigth (sun-mon) with my son (12), after an exhausting sailing event during the weekend.
Nicely furbished, small hotel. Not cheap, but not the most expensive either. Nice, modern looking and comfortable rooms. Very nice location. A few minutes to walk to the centre, as well as to Bryggen and Akvarietn (the aquarium).
The breakfast was almost worth the whole, merely stiff, price in itself. I'v never had any breakfast like it. Freshly home baked bread, home made jam and yoghurt and lots of other exciting stuff. Fresh made orange juice. All this in a nice, cosy, modern dining room.
Ask the staff if you arrive by car and need parking.
The rooms could have more lockers, shelves and knobs, to avoid leaving clothes on the floor.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the port / Bryggen have best view.
