It was so bad that I don't even know where to begin...
Maybe from an advice: don't go there!
First thing we immediately reported that a window was broken and they did NOTHING to help us!
Result: we got robbed in less than 2 hours! And we were not the only one!!
They didn't fix the window, they didn't change our room and of course they didn't give us our money back!
Moreover, the hotel entrance is always opened to everybody, there's a very crowded pub in the ground floor and the emergency stairs end exactly in the backyard of this pub which can be reached from everybody also from the street!
The hotel smells really bad, is dirty and very very noisy (but they warn you at least).
I can write many other problems, but remember that there's no safe in the rooms and neither in the reception, so if you have valuable stuff BE CAREFUL!
If you can, pay a bit more for another hotel which is safer, cleaner and in which you are not treated like if it was your fault!

Room Tip: Don't go there!

The P Hotel in Bergen, Norway, although right in the middle of the "action" is almost uninhabitable. We actually left a night earlier. The problem is, at night there are discotheques and clubs downstairs and the side street is a main thoroughfare for motorcycles, buses and cars. We were issued earplugs at the front desk, but with the one window having to be opened, they did no good. I asked the desk clerk for extra towels, since we only had one per person and he told me to go to the laundry room and get what we need. I also told him we had a leaky toilet and he said he was too busy to come up and look at it. Still, he was very surprised when we left the one night early and begged for a chance to see if he could get us another room, even though we had asked for one earlier and he said they didn't have any. It was overpriced, over noisy, over leaky and underserved. If however, you are the type to stay up all night, this is your place. The good news was that it was a five minute walk to the center of town and the beautiful harbor and ten minutes to the train depot. Bergen itself, is the jewel of Scandinavia.

Room Tip: Don't stay there! I could have lived with it if the attendants were a little more helpful, but t...

This is a very old building as well as the rooms. PHotel Oslo is very modern & nice so we expected something similar. Beds and furniture are old. Located in a busy corner, noisy at night.
Staff's attitude is indifferent.

Just stayed at this hotel with in Norway. After over 35 years of traveling internationally, I can say this hotel rates as the worst I have ever stayed at. Rooms and hallways were dirty. Staff were clueless, and could not even get an extra pillow for our room. Very little TV - only 3 channels. Free breakfast was a sandwich in a bag hung on our door. No way to print boarding passes, other than sending the PDG file to the front desk and having them print it. Two bars just below and next to the hotel were loud until 3 AM. Noise is so bad front desk hands out earplugs when you check in. We spoke to the front desk to get a different room, and the response was; A room is a room. We left a day early just to get a hotel were we could get a good nights sleep.

Room Tip: Don't stay here. Get a different hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel is very basic. Beds narrow. Free wifi. Great location. Walking distance to main square and fish market. Free sandwich and apple for breakfast. Restaurant on premise (Italian).

Room Tip: Do not rely on Hotels.com.

Everyone knows prices in Norway are quite expensive, but here you get high hotel prices with the level of a hostel.
We booked 5+ months in advance and we explicitly specified we wanted a room on the inner side of the hotel. When we got there, we didn't get what we've asked...
There is no elevator to get to the last floor, so you have to use the stairs. In addition to that, the whole corridor on the last floor stank! Breakfast is a small sandwich+juice+apple delivered next to your room in the morning.
No hairdryer was provided, plus the room had the waterpipes hanging on our heads with no protection (like a wall covering them).
Completely disappointed. I can definitely say that I've seen lots of hostels in better conditions with more reasonable prices

This is a hostel, not by any stretch of the imagination is it a hotel! If we'd paid hostel prices I wouldn't of minded but this was an expensive hotel, that somehow had really good reviews on other websites - I'll remember to check here first in future though.
Hotel has a sports bar on the ground floor, that was busy and noisy until at least 3.30am!
There breakfast consists of a sandwich, an apple and a carton of juice, which is hung in a paper bag from your door handle first thing in the morning.
They are apparently proud of the high speed internet that they have in the rooms.............so great is this is only works right in front of reception and nowhere else!
All round a very disappointing hostel!

Room Tip: Higher the better, away from more of the noise!
