“Best way to see Bergen in a nutshell”
Reviewed 25 May 2014 via mobile

Lovely experience when I had such a short time to see the city. Gives you a really great perspective with incredible views in a short period, and if course, in several different languages. Great way to see Bergen!

“Bergen off the ship”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

Unfortunately the weather blighted our sight seeing tour of Bergen. Fortunately our bus had a roof but our journey did not leave the city limits much.
The old houses were very interesting and the other attractions did not appeal too much.
The cruise away from Bergen showed us a better perspective of the city and its surrouds.
would love to visit again on a sunny day.

“Great Tour”
Reviewed 31 August 2013

Have just returned home from a cruise in Norway.
We did two Hop and and Off tours, the one in Oslo was bad.
Bergen on the other hand was a great experience.
Will recommend it, as it takes you on a Nice Tour for a fair price.
We listened to the English audio version and it was good.
Very informative, and they pointed out which houses/attractions were talked about, so we knew where to look.

“A great place to spend the day”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

We visited Bergen whilst cruising toward the Norwegian Fjords. There was an open top bus tour available, & we loved it. We saw most of the town from the bus, the top even closed automatically when it started raining! We managed to download our e-mails on the bus using free Wi fi. There is a scenic train ride available that we missed out on, as the queues were long each time we looked. Those that went up said that the views were great. The fish market is really interesting, you'll see live shellfish galore, fish & shellfish ready for sale & best of all, fish & shellfish being cooked on barbecues by the fish quay with hordes of locals & tourists waiting to buy & eat the platters. We shared a plate of scallops with salad, they were beautiful!! No doubt everything is fresh out of the sea! There are many souvenir stalls nearby for the shopaholics' I think you'd need more than 1 day to see the whole city, as we barely touched the surface. It was certainly memorable.

“Beautiful Bergen”
Reviewed 19 January 2013

Bergen is small, Bergen is big! This is how I feel about this town. My first impression is that it is a small port with beautiful old row houses by the port, which is so so small. Then when I started to walk around, it is a big town with shops, market places and many streets full of restaurants. The houses on the hill give the view of a beautiful postcard, just like part of Wellington in New Zealand! Amazing! When I took the cable car up the hill to see the sea, it was so beautiful as you can see the whole town and beyond. I love it. Moreover, I enjoyed the food in several restaurant by the port too. Good fish each time and not that expensive. Try the restaurant on the second flood overlooking the port. Every dish is delicious and the view!
