My parents, husband, and I visited this restaurant for dinner in May 2014. As soon as we walked in, we noticed the atmosphere was very relaxing. We asked for the waitress to suggest entrees and desserts for us, and the waitress was extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes (and had great suggestions to boot). For the appetizer, the waitress brought out complementary corn bread and a chili spread (see pictures) which was uber yummy. For dinner, my stepdad had Uncle Denk's Lamb Shank and raved about it during our entire stay in Norway. My mom had the Grilled Cod Salsa Verde. I had a bite and I highly suggest this dish! My husband and I split the Sailor Coya's Fish Pot, which was excellent. The only thing I'd change is to add a little citrus (lemon wedge would do the trick). We also had the SOHO Fries and the Side Salad, which were both delicious. My husband and I got the Buckthorn, Fennel & White Chocolate dessert and Naughty Farmer Girl dessert. The Buckthorn dish was original to Norway and we were glad that we tried it, but I think we both preferred the Naughty Farmer Girl dessert. Just FYI, the total price for my husband and I for two entrees, two sides, and two appetizers was approximately $143 ($71.50 per person) without tip, which is not bad for Norway.
Long story short, the food was very good and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I would highly recommend this place to my friends, family, and fellow TripAdvisors :)
