First of all I should point out that I really enjoyed my stay here......but as some constructive criticism for the managers, we were put in room 222, which has basically, no privacy.
There are curtains on the windows, but no sheers, meaning that when you open the curtains in the morning, everyone in Starbucks is looking straight at you. Even if you pop back into the room for a coffee or to change, everyone at Starbucks is looking straight at you.
The bathroom isn't much better (in terms of privacy - but it is a nice bathroom) , so you have to have a bath and shower with the light off, unless you want to "share" your experience with Starbucks clientele.(There is a curtain in there but its sort of see through)
The room itself was nicely decorated, but very stuffy, with opening the windows the only means of cooling down, and being right on the road, it was a problem with noise ! It was also very noisy at night, although I was tired every night from sightseeing, so didn't really cause an issue for me, but could see how it would for some people.
The breakfast / restaurant was good - really enjoyed our evening meal and the guy even got us a seat on Sat night without a booking. I recommend the ribs as a starter.
The staff were really nice - couldn't speak highly enough of them.
I would definitely stay here again, but would ask for a different room.
