We stayed in this hostel for 3 night at the end of our stay in Norway. We found it higly overpriced for what it was. It is well located in the walking distance from everywhere. On the other hand, Aalesund being a small city, it is not difficult to be centraly located :). We stayed in the room for 4 but we were only 2 which left us lot of space in the room, it was cool. Bathroom was private, in the room. Unfortunately there were several problems with it, such as shower door not fixed, toiles was not fixed to the floor which was kind of funny. The bathroom smelled bad, probably because of the bad evacuation of the water. Kithen in the room was not working. TV in the room is useless in case you do not understand only 2 channels in norvegian working :)
However, the common kitchen in the basement was fully equiped with all you might need to make your own food, that seems to be neccessary in Norway. Unfortunately there is no common room such as living room or salon where you could share some time with other peoples. This kind of place that you expect in the hostel kind of accomodation. It is more like a hotel with the common kitchen. It is not the most cosy hostel we stayed in, but its ok.
The only 100% thing is the breakfast buffet.
