From this up the hill point of view you have a stunning panorama of the city. A must spot for the sunset, amazing colours of the sky, you can also see the boats at the sea

Took me about 10 - 15 min to get to the top, amazing views all the way. There's a cafe on top where you can rest and have a coffee and something to eat.

The climb is not to difficult though you may have to take a few stops along the way depending on your fitness level. We had a 9 year old who had no trouble. The views from the top are worth it and they have a small café with chips and drinks at the top with outdoor seating if you are not eating at the restaurant.

Visited Alesund on a rainy day. Drove to the cafe at the top of Fjellstua, had a lovely vegetarian lunch. Great place to while a way some time on a rainy day. Views still good. On my first visit to alesund walked up on a sunny day, spectacular views, definitely worth the effort. Staff in the cafe speak very good English and are exceptionally polite and helpful.
