Of five hotels stayed in Norway, this was by far the best, Room was impeccable, as in most Norwegian hotels for that matter. We were given an upgrade (room with side view of fjord) without asking. Room was well equipped (fridge, electric kettle, instant coffee, tea and herb tea bags); toiletries included soap in bars (rather than in liquid dispenser), shampoo, and moisturizer. Breakfast (included in room price) was the typical Norwegian, with a large selection of quality products: fresh fruit salad, various kinds of cereals, nuts, scrambled eggs, various cold cuts, Norwegian sausage, different breads, etc. Unfortunately, we were not able to dine at the restaurant, which is highly recommended by many, as it was fully booked for the evening we were there.

Room Tip: The best rooms have a view of the fjord, either full or partial, with a small terrace with chairs, w...

OK hotel, in the middle of Molde. Staff is very kind and helpful, both reception and restaurant. Food is good, and they boast of having the best fish in town. That might be right - We had halibut an bacalao. Large and tasty pieces of fish, but amount of sauce and vegetables was not enough to match the fish. Specially to the halibut, which is a rather dry fish -
Breakfast was average, and the bacon was fried to cinders.

The hotel is very close to the homeground of Molde Football, and on our evening in the Fjordstuer they played a match - and lost. We expected peace in the evening and night, because the room was against the sea. But the locals celebrated the lost match playing loud music and yelling in their boats in the marina to late night. The sea view was very limited, but it was nice to see the ferries and cruiseboats passing by.

The hotel has cable TV on a flat screen in the room, but that did not work because of bad connection to the source. Even the radio channels were disturbed and useless.

As said, the hotel was OK, but we will try one of the other hotels when visiting Molde next time.

We arrived without a reservation late in the afternoon but were immediately allocated a fjord view room (although a bit obscured by an overhang and somewhat overlooked by the neighbouring balcony). The bedroom was ok but the bathroom smelled very strongly of damp and mould and had a rather tired decor. Leaving the ventilator on all the time helped a little with the smell. Staff were helpful and friendly. Wifi was free but intermittent.

Molde Fjordstuer is a nice modern hotell in Molde with walking distance to most things(as all hotels in Molde). It is built with many rooms with seaview and the coastal steamer passes just outside the windows twice every day. Beautiful. The reason they do not get excellent is lack of free parking outside. After 5 in the afternoon, no parking were free and we had to place our car on publiv parking at 31 NOK an hour on daytime. Very nice restaurant in upper pricerange, but worth it.

Room Tip: Seaview with balcony.

Just as everyone has mentioned, this hotel has great views of the fjord and the harbor. If you can afford it request a room with a view!

The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and very spacious.

The tv is a bit on the small side but I can live with it.

Room also comes with a coffee maker, a nice touch.

Tips:
- try to request a room in the third floor as they have vaulted ceiling
- just like many (could be all) hotels in Norway, this hotel doesn't have air conditioning, only heating.

This hotel is situated on the edge of the fjord from which ferries run to the main road to Bergen. We were a late afternoon direct booking, plenty of rooms available and got a good rate for a room with a waterfront view. Absolutely fabulous to have a pre-dinner glass of wine looking over the fjord. Very modern rooms with all top facilities.

Room Tip: Molde is a transit town on the way to somewhere, and it was easy to get a room. By arriving quite la...

Stayed in business in July. The hotel is nice and located beside the Molde Fk football stadium. The rooms are nice and have air con but it's very slow to get going.

Free wifi throughout on multiple devices. The food in the hotel is good.

The rooms have 2 single beds pushed together and the TV are very small. Other than that it was a nice place.

Some rooms have balconies.
