We stayed over night at this hotel during a recent visit to the area around the Atlantic Road on Norway's west coast. The staff were welcoming and coped well with our lack of Norwegian and included a Norwegian woman who had spent a couple of years in Australia. The rooms were well fitted out with excellent beds. Breakfast was provided at a cost of 70 Norwegian krone and was great value for money in a country where food and drink is a major cost factor. It was a buffet style and provided everything you could desire for starting the day and if it was not provided you could order separately. The hotel is in a modern building resembling a sailing ship and sits on the edge of the fjord close to the centre of the town.

Room Tip: All rooms appear to have views over the fjord and surrounding landscape which is spectacular

Thiis hotel is modern and new. The staff and service was exceptional. The breakfast was a cut above with a massive collection of fruit and freshly pressed juices available. Possibly the best breakfast I have ever had. The most amazing feature of this hotel is the view. Most rooms have a 180 degree of the water and mountains with the ferries running up and down. The sunrise and sunsets are unbelievable and we took many photographs. We were on the 10 th floor. Try to get a room as high up aa possible. If you have a rental car, make sure that you have paid for parking for the next day. The parking police checked my ticket at 8:00 and the fine is 300 NOK if your tickethas expired.

Room Tip: Choose a floor as high as possible facing the water

Stayed one night on business. New restaurant menu was very limited and the steak I was delivered was mediocre and not the one I ordered (it would have been my 2nd choice so I accepted it). Breakfast was very good and the views from the restaurant and sky bar were fantastic, so I would stay there again but head somewhere else for dinner

When in Molde I choose to stay at no other hotel. Rica Seilet may quite possibly have the best views you will see in your lifetime. Both sunrise and sunset can be enjoyed form different sides of the hotel. It is a couple of hundred meters walk to all facilities the town has to offer. The hotel has a great Sky bar with a great bartender. He will make you everything! The restaurant offers great food, and lots of local food. We are not 100% happy with the service. it takes too long to order and way too long to pay. The waiters are often chatting to each other instead of looking after the guests, especially on quiet days. Because of the great view, though, we are willing to forgive them. :)

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view

Beautiful hotel in Molde. Stayed for 2 nights in april 2014. The room was clean an comfortable. Beautiful view from my room in 7th floor over the fjord and mountains. Breakfast was very good, better than most hotel breakfasts I have eaten in Norway. A few minor minuses: The main switch for my room was placed in the middle of the bed gavel. The result was when I sat in the bed reading a book, the light turn off. The other thing was the room-key. You had to lock the room from the outside.

Overall this was a very good hotel, and I recommend it!
